Nolan Smith is sort of Odafe Oweh (from afar).

Both from great collegiate defenses surrounded by great talent despite not really dominating in college.  Both with stunning workouts that put/will put them in the first round.  Oweh started pretty fast and impactful with the Ravens and really fizzled out after that.  Granted, he's only 2 years in.

Josh Sweat was a raw physical freak and it took him at least 2 years to figure out how to burst off the LOS and bend around an OT.

I love drafting these types of guys...and the elite rushers almost all have elite workout explosion numbers.  But it's nice to see signs of being unblockable in college too.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Wasn’t it discussed a bunch last year that Georgia doesn’t let their DL rush like a most teams. That they essentially mush rush?

And rotate a bunch bc they blow teams out

Future Patriot.

So we playing a strict 4-3 or what’s going on with that?

I tried a million times. I dont think anyone listens.

It seems Habakkuk Baldonado had a decent enough workout for a mid-round guy. OK 40. Solid jumps. Very big hands.

Big fan, and that was me thinking he is more of a run playing NT type. Now you see the athleticism and wonder if he can become more.

Yea they really held Davis back as a pass rusher.

About a strong a day as you can have only patrticipating in the 40 and nothing else for Derick Hall too. The size is good enough. The hands/arms are great. And the 40 was very very good.

they did. He could have been much further along.

Nick Hampton from App State, maybe a good under the radar backup SAM prospect. Size, just ok. Production very good. Very good arm length, and excellent workout.

Zach Harrison had over 36'' arms? Is that a typo?

For those who still think Jalen Ramsey is elite, Ive been saying hes not anymore.

Here is some opinion from the combine

talking to team sources from cornerback-needy NFL franchises, they said they did not think Ramsey was worth a first-round pick anymore.

"We dug into his tape from last year, and his days as an elite player are numbered, if not over," said an AFC director of player personnel. "He's starting to gamble more, looking to make plays. He's playing for picks. He's losing speed, you can see that versus Chris Olave. It was frightening. Jalen was trying and running, but couldn't keep up with him. I've never seen a guy just run by him like that. D.K. Metcalf and Davante Adams showed some of that as well. Teams aren't scared of him anymore, and they're throwing at him. And it's not just the player; it's the contract that comes with him."

Does anyone know if pff will recalibrate their draft rankings based on combine results? Their draft simulator is fun but you see the same names at the same spots over and over. Would be great if they factor in combine heroes and how teams gobble up that info.

I just lol at Daniel Jones. Dude, there is a used car dealership waiting for the end of your career.

Either way that mofo will probably make more $ in the next two years than I will in a lifetime

Left off the vert conveniently

his cod was pretty poor. Not a fan

I'm not a big fan either, though I don't hate him either. I am keeping my eye on him. He's got the prototypical size and strength for DE.

That would be an easy pass for me. He's better than the general public thinks he is, but he ain't that good.

My little sleeper is YaYa Diaby. Excellent speed and get off, good size and wingspan, good strength. Just lacks experience. Not sure where he goes but if he's there on day 3 he could be a steal. Could go earlier I would think though.

Young was the breakout star for me today. He is Nolan Smith, except bigger, more productive, and a round or 2 cheaper.
