Young was the breakout star for me today. He is Nolan Smith, except bigger, more productive, and a round or 2 cheaper.

Definitely blew it up today. Someone to keep our eyes on.

Still want Witherspoon or Jr. at 10.

Jones isn't worth more than like 25M/year on a short term contract. 45M is insane.

Not surprised.

The more wasted picks in the top 9, the better.

Van Ness at 10 please

Bring Graham back on a 1 year deal, sign CJGJ longterm, bring back Bradberry on a 2 year deal; let Miles, Epps, Hargrave, TJ walk. Sign a WLB, start Dean. Slay walks next year.

Yep

I remember when Malik Willis was a top 3 pick and he, Pickett and Ridder were going top 10 too for sure.

they did. He could have been much further along.

I guess he’s still at the stage of learning not to stand straight up after the snap.  Georgia doesn’t like to teach that.

And 3 years older - he turns 25 this month… I like Young but older DE prospects struggle in the league.

The board is going to be split on that. I wouldn't be surprised if it's the pick but I personally would not like it.

Sure they can talk to him through his lawyer, after they tack on giving false statements, leaving the scene of a crime, failing to render aid, and whatever else they decide to dream up.   Im sure they'd be happy to do that for him.

The vast majority of police officers are common, decent men and women. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.who watches too much TV.

Personally I wouldn't make any statement without a lawyer. Soooooooooooooooo

UGA wanted JD to 2-gap and keep their LBs clean. This wasn’t much of a problem at 340lb+. The pass rush scheme there is tilted towards the LBs, Dean had 6 sacks last year… that compares well to most DL prospects in this draft.  I agree JD needs to play lower, as NFL offensive lineman excel at defeating freaky big people on a weekly basis and without better technique his potential will be hobbled.

I said this well before the Super Bowl. Someone is going to fall in love with the raw physical talent and think they can coach him up.

Not sure he goes to 3 but top 10 sure looks likely. Either he pushes someone down to us or we can be the trade target for a QB needy team.

I was beating the Richardson top 3 pick last summer. He was/is my QB1.

Still, any team drafting him better have a starter because he's not going to be ready in September. Most teams won't be patient.

As long as there's one of those QB's available when we get on the clock it should only be a good thing.

Van ness at 30? Sure

10? no way

I don’t know dude — the guy has INSANE physical ability. His arm strength is elite, his size is elite, his running ability for a QB will instantly be among the best in the league. I haven’t heard anything bad about him off the field.

He’s super raw but physically he will be among the best in the NFL. Not too many guys that size with that arm and those legs.

Agreed. But, playing devil’s advocate, assume Witherspoon and Wilson are off the board. He might genuinely be the highest upside non QB available. I’d want a trade down, but I could see him in play in that 10-15 range.

I don't really even want him at 30. But that would be easier to take.
