I wouldn’t forget about Milton Williams i tend to think he plays a bigger role next year. He’s the type of guy i think the envisioned being able to play both DE and DT and move him around. I thought he played good down the stretch until the playoffs.

He’ll be a nice piece, but we need a double digit sack threat on the interior. It’s crucial these days.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Oh i agree. I think they’ll move out of 10 and back a couple spots and get some more picks. I think their first 3 picks are likely DT, CB and OL.

Williams was MIA in the playoffs.

Hargrave and Cox are as good as gone.

Davis is an unknown who is a toss up to be a contributor(And that pains me as a UGA alum)

I'm all for double dipping to find interior pass rush this year. There will be value late 1st-3rd.

Bresee, Dexter, Smith, Young, Kancey, Benton, Redmond, Pickens,

in fairness for Williams he played 18 snaps, 20 snaps (49ers had 45 snaps; was his largest percentage) and 12 snaps in the 3 playoff games. Majority of his snaps also didn’t come all that early on the 2 blowouts vs. giants and niners. His best game was the 49ers out of all 3; had 2 tackles, 1 Qb hit and a couple pressures.

Let me say imo I don’t think it’s very likely the Eagles take a tight end early in this draft. I know there’s some guys who’d might available at the end of the first but i don’t see the eagles going down that road especially cause of how many other positions they need to fill and cap space is going to be limited with hurts extension.

I know Berman and wulf talked about it on their podcast earlier in the week. I find it harder to believe with the amount of holes they go tight end early in the draft

It does make sense. When Goedert isn't in there, the offense is not as good and doesn't function the way they want. Getting a good number 2 is an insurance policy that can slide right in and hopefully not accrue much off a drop off. And it will give the offensive staff to come up with more 2 TE sets opening up the playbook even more. It's a quality TE class as well. But like you said, the state of the defense and needing more pieces on offense it doesn't seem like it's as pressing right now. Most would be annoyed I think with that selection but it seems like an Eagles thing. I could totally see them ignoring safety and linebacker maybe even RB and the third receiver to grab the #2 TE

Gonzales certainly impressed. Still cautious but the kid has all the traits you could ask for

I'm all in there, just about ready to put him as the top CB. Think he's definitely gone in the top 9 now too.

I see it the opposite way. This isn’t a good top of the draft, and CB is the deepest position. Teams will snap them up because good corners are hard to find.

First round I expect 5-7 CBs. Banks will probably be the 3rd or 4th off the board.

I wouldn't mind a double dip in the top 3 rounds. Grab 1 of the top 5 consensus corners (Witherspoon, Gonzalez, Banks, Smith,Porter) then another in round 2/3. I would imagine this is Slays last year.

How does Clark Phillips measure up to that Hargraves guy that went on round 1 but was clearly easy too small?

If you Draft Gonzalez or Witherspoon. Move Maddox to safety and draft Phillips for slot in late round 2 you save money on CGJ and can likely keep Hargrave.

I answered my question.

About an inch shorter in height. And arm length.

How early are nickelbacks getting drafted these days? Basically, a starting position but seems like 4th round+, Brandon Boykin comes to mind.

What’s the tag for RB?  10 mil+?  Way too high…hope they do it

Its a good group of TE and its a sneaky need for te2

I love Brandon but i wouldn’t be entirely shocked if he leaves for a couple reasons. 1. I don’t think the eagles want to pay him the type of money a team like cleveland would just for his leadership and secondly his ability. 2. I think howie might have learned from the last Super Bowl run that sometimes you can’t keep everyone and can’t be nostalgic with guys even if they helped you in he past achieve greatness. 3. I think graham realizes this is likely his last contract he gets so i see him going for the money unless it’s really close in terms of money.

I agree with you for the most part but keeping BG this time wouldn't be for nostalgic reasons IMO.  BG had his best statistcial season last year in a limited role.  He played his lowest snap count, 43%, since 2014.  He had 11 sacks, 11 TFL and 16 QB hits.  He only came close to those numbers in 2016/17 when he was playing over 70% of the snaps.

BG is a smart guy, knows his body, and knows that he is going to be coddled here as much as needed.  TC practice off, limited snaps and a great situation for him.  If he goes to the Browns, he might be counted on for a bigger role than he can handle right now.

Now, I could be wrong and he just chases the money, but he'd be smart to stay here and finish his career in a system and situation that is best for hm.

I am not Shane Haff, let me start by saying that, but he's using some of the same talking points as I've used regarding adding a TE2 at this point in DG's career.

Jack Stoll is a JAG at TE2, bottom line.  A JAG that can block. 1/2 the TE in the draft would be an immediate upgrade over him.

If Vegas allowed wagering on these projected drafts, you could probably wager $1 to win a billion on this one 😂

He’s not going anywhere. Either retirement or a hometown discount

I’m not a big Porter fan, but if we could get one from Witherspoon, Gonzalez, Banks and one of Forbes, Williams, etc I’d be pretty darn happy.

Tbh I think it would nostalgia as the reason if the eagles decided to overpay to keep him and not have him go elsewhere. I’m not saying to get rid of BG but if the money is too rich don’t revert to nostalgic reasons as why you have to match it. I tend to think at 35 next season there’s a better chance he falls off then continues to play at the level he did this year even in a specialized role.

It’s going to cost cap to move on from BG, Howie will give him 2yr deal with void years.

Bryce Young is 5'10, 204. That's heavy enough to go top 5 IMO.

It's just to prevent him from entering FA. They'll work out a deal plus cut Zeke.

Bryce Young is going to be special his football IQ isn’t Kyler Murray. No doubt
