Vertical jump is kind of meaningless for a QB, but a GM will take him in the top 10 because of his general athletic traits. Helps push guys down for the Eagles.

Vert is a decent proxy for explosiveness which is important for a QB you want to burst out of the pocket. Also might be a good proxy for the rugby scrum play and the push he can generate.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Very unimpressed by the WR 40 times. Even the so called burners: Dell, Boutte, Flowers are in the 4.4s.

Wonder how many if any have asked him about switching positions in the pros.

He's a freak athlete but as a QB he had sune dreadful performances, in one game he went a whole half without completing a pass, he had a bunch of INTs, his accuracy is all over the place he needs a lot of work as a passer.

Not sure what his work ethic is like, having said that I'm sure there are plenty of teams willing to take him in the 1st at QB but as great as an athlete he is im not sure he'll ever get to the point as a passer to be effective in the NFL

Better watch it…you’re going to climb the seeding in the racist bracket.

I haven't really done research yet (and probably never will this year), but it seems like we aren't going to have a worthwhile DL or pass rusher on the board at 10.  If there is an elite CB prospect (Gonzalez or Witherspoon)...that may be someone who is both available and deserving at 10.

I'd also support a potentially dominant and imposing OL there, but I'm not sure that's an option at 10 either.

Not feeling it at WR this year.

I think the value and opportunity returns at IDL and edge in the mid 20's through our pick.

There’s a good chance now that 4 QBs go in the top 9. Anderson, Wilson, Carter will go top 9. That’s 7. We need one other guy to go top 9 to push Witherspoon or Gonzalez down to us.

Not sure about Carter anymore. He could drop out with his situation. Hopefully one OT can go, at least.

If so he legitimately might go #1 overall.

6’4” 240 pounds with 4.2 speed and ultra elite arm strength?

He’d be the greatest athlete in the history of the position, and frankly it wouldn’t be remotely close.

Too bad he isnt that great at actually throwing the ball…

His upside is too great. From what I’ve read he has solid intangibles too. Maybe not quite Hurts level work ethic, but definitely not any kind of concern. The team that takes him needs a really good QB coach and a vet ahead of him. A little luck with development and you have an all-pro QB.

If so lock him in as the 4th QB in the top 9. Wouldn't be mad if he was there at 10 either to try and get some sweet trade back offers.

What if he was there at 10 and Howie takes him...

The QB factory must be fed.

He’s inconsistent. When he’s on, he looks great. When his mechanics break down he’s all over the place. And he’ll have one of the best arms in the NFL, near Mahomes level.

That’s the gamble you have to evaluate… I wouldn’t trade up for him, but if I needed a QB and he fell to me I’d be really tempted to pull that trigger.

The crowd was cheering when Levis threw the ball like he was a cross between John Elway and Dan Marino. I mean he looked ok but nothing crazy special. I was expecting much more.

I brought up the possibility of taking him at 30 during the season. Obviously that’s not happening now, but if some Uber athlete QB is available outside the top 20 I’d be really tempted.

If it was closer to draft night I’d agree, but the class is so weak at the top and he’s so good I still think he goes top 10. Maybe he falls out of the top 5 now with a bunch of WBs going early.

Disagree. It shows explosiveness, similar to the broad jump right? For him, it’s basically his selling point until his passing ability catches up.

He needs to sit a year. So teams who are 1yr out for a qb?

detroit? Rams? Saints? Tampa?

Boutte has had an absoutely terrible combine.

Richardson said he ran a sub 4.3 in his training. He will run an official 40 later today.

Lame.

Yeah, I don't think even Howie/Jeff/Halaby/Julian would be that stupid.

Richardson is intriguing.  But I really struggle to get past his completion rate.

Richardson 4.44

4.44 for Anthony Richardson.

Just checked the nfl combine results site, Richardson didn't even run yet so that 4.3 wasn't official anywhere.

This was prior to his 4.44 which is nice, but that's not a 4.3

Incredible athlete , hopefully they can make him a QB

He is done running
