He'll look great in Eagles green at 10. Don't over think Skoronski.

Yup

starts at RG with long term plan for RT

dude would be an all pro at G

RG in year 1.
RT in year 3 when Lane retires OR stays at RG.

We have a LG who has an extensive injury history too.

I’m not sure tackle is in his future with those short arms. There hasn’t been a pro bowl tackle in the past 7 years with arms shorter than 33 inches. For a lot of teams, he’s an automatic guard convert.

Today is a big day for us regarding Bijan Robinson. If he puts up Barkley numbers, he can very easily go top 10. The Lions, Falcons and Panthers (if they sign Carr), could all go RB. Even the Bears could do it if they drop down to 8-9.

Falcons is a good one. Their head coach was the o-coordinator in Tennessee and may want to have an elite type back to run the offense through like he did with Henry. Not that I necessarily agree, they need help all over the place and RB seems like a luxury to me for them.

Man if Howie drafts him I'll scream.

But I do like the weight for the G/T versatility, assuming he's running the drills.

Disappointing weight.

Honestly I don't even care. He could've lightened up for the drills. He can easily get back up to 205

Do you see Howie sitting and waiting from pick 94 to pick 221?

There will be compensation picks since the Eagles are losing so many free agents.

Would be nice to have that 4th we gave up for the corpse of Robert Quinn.

Rashawn Slater's arm length was 33 and a wingspan of 80 1/8. He was 6'4, 304, He's been a very good LT. Pro Bowl level IMO.
Skoronski is the same height, but heavier. That's great for a guard and still IMO good enough for tackles.

Comp picks arrive next draft, unfortunately.

Nick Foles is 6’5” not 6’6”. Literally measured 6050 at the combine.

https://draftscout.com/dsprofile.php?PlayerId=78428&DraftYear=2012

Yes, there are far more QBs who are 6’4” than 6’6”. There is a reason for that. QBs are among the highest paid pro athletes in the world. If taller meant better we’d see more 6’6” QBs. Instead they end up playing on the OL and DL.

Matt Jones was literally a sub 60% passer. He had a very weak arm. And he was a sub 60% passer after 3 straight years starting. He just wasn’t an NFL caliber QB. Didn’t have the arm. It’s that simple.

Richardson on the other hand has a howitzer and he actually flashes accuracy and touch which Jones never did. Richardson has terrible mechanics. He needs work. Everyone understands this.

But he’s in another dimension from Jones as far as his QB potential. His potential as a prospect is akin to Mike Vick or Cam Newton. It’s among the highest ever. That doesn’t guarantee he won’t bust, but again, there is a reason he’s a sure fire first round pick and Jones was forced to switch positions before the combine. It’s not just because of his combine either. He does some incredible things on the football field. The dude busts of 40+ yard TD runs and can launch bombs. The bet is that you can coach him up to be more consistent.

In college in 3 years he has a career 54 completion % that's pretty bad.

Sure he's a great athlete and like I said coaches see the raw athletic ability and think wow if I could turn this guy into a passer he could be a real weapon, meanwhile qbs like Tom Brady that show up to combine looking like accountants get drafted late and win super bowls.

When did GMs stop evaluating qbs as qbs and instead just evaluate them as athletes?

Richardson was a bad college passer.

Hurts ,newton ,Lamar, fields were all better passers in college, even josh Allen who was pretty inconsistent in college was a better passer in college than Richardson.

As for the height thing if a kid is close to 6'6" in highschool he's most likely not a QB , he's probably on the b ball team or plays TE or DL or OL.

I know when I was in highschool all the y'all kids on our team played OL DL.

Growing up I can't ever remember too many guys on the college teams that were tall like 6'5" 6'6" that played anything other than OL DL TE but if I get a kid whose 6'6" who can sling it and move a bit I'm not asking him to move to OL just because he's 6'6".

Maybe the kid in highschool could have developed at 6'6" QB coaches aren't saying well that kids 6'6" so he must suck at QB but that kid at 6'5" he's ok, because that one inch makes such a big difference...😒

Anyway I'm not sure why we're talking about height🤷‍♂️ Richardson is 6'4" 235ish which is great size for a QB, heck 10 more pounds and he'd make a great TE...😉

Arm length is pretty darn important. He’d be a total oilier if he becomes a pro bowler there. Slater’s arms are 3/4 longer. It matters a great deal to NFL teams. Has he played guard before?

The comp picks for players signed this year in FA are not until the 2024 draft.

The way I would look at Richardson is that I wouldn’t trade up for him, but if he drops to me and I like his interviews/background checks, then I’d take him.

I don’t want to mortgage multiple firsts in him and potentially cripple a team for half a decade, but if he drops into my lap and the background stuff checks out I don’t know how you pass on that kind of upside.

Somebody is going to take him in the first, personally I wouldn't, I prefer to draft qbs in the first that actually are adept completing passes.

We'll see maybe he'll shut me and his doubters up.

Does anyone remember that TE’s name who was going through a catching drill about 3-4 years ago who took a football directly to the face?

Just ran into this video, is this the one?

And they're going to be at the end of the rounds and the league seems stingy with the higher round picks.

Darnell Wright is another OG/OT option. Could be a trade back candidate to around 15-20 range.

I think arm length is overblown, but you're right that some teams won't draft for OT because of it.
