I would definitely shift him to OG. He can be insurance to the tackles but ideally he's the new RG. Does he have the strength though for guard is the question. He is highly intelligent so I would imagine his technique is outstanding and he can learn the advantages.

If we can trade back, would love him in RD4. He's not a starter, but he can run this type of offense for 2-3 games with his legs.

Put Richardson in and have him run a lot.  244 pounds 4.43.  Running QBs, who are great at running.  Have them run a lot.  Win.  The Eagles did this,  the Ravens did this, the Bears are working toward this.   Richardson's passing will be good enough, along with a lot of great running.

I’m not lost in the weeds. Teams find arm length to be very important at that position and have thresholds set for it. He will come in under it for a lot of teams.

There isn't a sports talk host in the city that despises talking either callers more than Glenn Macnow.  He gives callers about 3-5 before he starts talking over them and then hangs up on them shortly thereafter to say they have to go and then don't go to a commercial break or guest.  Just Glenn trying to get through having any callers in.  In fact Unless it was Ray Diddinger talking then Glenn clearly doesn't care for anyone giving their opinion on anything.  Beyond that he had a weird possessiveness of Ray and anytime a guest or caller would be praising Ray and getting praise back from Ray it would clearly bother Glenn that anyone would get the affection of Ray other than him.  Oddest sports talk host in the city.

They corrected his arm length so i think if he’s available late in the first i wouldn’t mind going that direction. Can have him play RG until lane retires then shifted him back out to RT. I’m sure lane would love to mentor a young Oklahoma kid to be his eventual replacement.

How does Skoronski compare to Zack Martin? Martin was another awesome college tackle but moved inside to guard because of shorter arms (32 7/8). From what I’ve read teams prefer 34+ arms at tackle but will settle for 33.

If there is a player (not saying Gonzalez is or isn't that player) who is about BPA, at a position of need, and is a better prospect than an also great prospect at the same position...take the better prospect and forget about the pocket change draft picks.  Let's not risk a first round disappointment by getting cute.

Although 5 picks in this draft is disappointing, I think its important to keep in mind that between this and next draft, we have a lot of picks in the first 3 rounds.

So, we are going to be infusing a lot of young premium talent.

It cant all be done this year. We shouldnt be shortsighted and give up the opportunity at elite players thinking we need more picks.

Because we have an incredible opportunity to add a LOT of premium players if we stick to our board for this year.

 

I dont really mind trading down from 30, maybe. But, I take Gonzalez at 10 if he is there.
