He seems to be a weird fit with Sirianni’s culture.

Patricia and Pettine on the same staff?

I'd be fine there. He's been coaching on the defensive side of the ball under Bill for a long time.

Much rather have Pettine than Patricia

Honestly I don't even care. He could've lightened up for the drills. He can easily get back up to 205

He’s about 3 inches shorter than listed as well. 5’9” 200 pounds is perfectly fine for a RB. I’d be more concerned if he was 6’+ just because it either means he has a thin frame or didn’t put in the work to put on muscle.

But at 5’9” with his style of play 200 pounds is probably as heavy as you really want him.

It's really rare to have a top 10 without an OL...

He’s going to be the first OL off the board like I said a month or two ago. He’s a good player already as an RS Sophomore and has by far the highest upside at OT in the draft.

He’s probably our consolation prize if Witherspoon and Gonzalez go top 9 along with 4 QBs and Anderson, Carter, Wilson.

If we could somehow come out of the first round with Jones and Banks I’d be really happy.

One of the strongest arms in the NFL with 4.4 speed, the most explosive leg movement in the history of the NFL at the position all in a 6’4” 245 pound body is the definition of high potential.

He wasn't even the strongest arm at this year's combine.  And he has 0 potential as a QB. Need more than just a strong arm.  And he literally had nothing else but a strong arm.

He should try WR.

That would be very solid. Jones was my favorite lineman too. Mentioned it months ago. Really elevating his stock right now. Hate to say it but DJ just said he could be the first o-lineman off the board. He might not even be there at 10 either.

0 potential as a QB yet will be a first round pick as a QB.

Yeah, I didn’t expect him to make it to 10 a few months ago because as someone said, there is almost always a top 10 OT.

I’d be ecstatic to get him at 10. With Stoutland coaching him, I think he’s a relatively high probability all-pro level player.

He has poor mechanics. Big difference. When his mechanics are in form he is an excellent passer.

And that gets to the few starts issue. Unlike someone such as Matt Jones, Richardson hasn’t had the time to improve. He’s not a RS Senior throwing sub 60% completion, he’s a RS Sophomore with 200 attempts in his entire career. There’s a lot of opportunity for improvement.

Not nearly enough time as a first rounder

Defenses will wreck him

Not sure why you keep bringing up Matt Jones.

Vick and Newton are more comparable

Vick played 22 games 343 attempts 56 completion% came out as a SO

Newton 20 games 292 Attempts mostly his 3rd year 65% career completion

Richardson 22 games 393 attempts 54% career completion.

Both Vick and Newton were number 1 picks so it wouldn't be out if the realm of possibility that Richardson goes first round but Vick won more big games in college as did Newton plus Newton has far better passing stats than Richardson and Vick.

Richardson in college was always the best athlete in the field but he wasnt very often the best football player on the field, he had some horrendous games and made a lot of poor decisions through the year that you've said he was in experience but a guy like newton with fewer games far fewer pass attempts played far better in college.

I didn’t originally bring up Matt Jones. Someone else did to show Richardson would be a bust.

I agree that Vick and Newton are more comparable. they both went #1 overall and made multiple pro bowls. Richardson probably won’t go #1 overall because he’s so raw, but he’ll likely go top 10, almost certainly top 15, and I think the path to being a pro bowl QB is pretty clear if he takes to coaching.

There are a lot of teams that will consider him in the first.

Let me put it this way — I guarantee he doesn’t make it past the eagles at 30.

I think early in his career theyll mush rush him because his running ability is so great. Again, it’s going to come down to coaching. He’ll sit the first half of the season or so most likely. By all accounts he actually has a good work ethic and isn’t a partier or anything like that so I expect him to put in the work.

The real question for me is if a coach can fix his throwing mechanics and be consistent with it on the field. That’s the difference between him being a wild passer and a good passer.

Vick broke the record for passer efficiency as a freshman and finished 3rd overall in the nation that year and broke the record with an insane 20.7 yard/completion.😳

Richardson pass efficiency last year was pretty bad, not a lot of tds, ave. Yard/ completion and too many costly INTs and not enough wins.

Newton if I remember led his team to the national championship game his last year???

Will be interesting to see how draft plays out

I never thought Josh Allen would go first round either his last college year he was horrendous after having a really good year the previous one but Richardson he doesn't have 1 really good year to fall back on like Vick or Newton. Or Allen.

We'll see what happens

Like I said earlier I wouldn't be surprised to see him go top 15 wouldn't be shocked to see him go 3rd round.🤷‍♂️
