There are a lot of teams that will consider him in the first.

Let me put it this way — I guarantee he doesn’t make it past the eagles at 30.

If he lasts til 30 and there is a team desperate enough to give up a bunch to move up Howie should definitely take that trade.

No. I looked it up, it was Mitchell Wilcox.

Kind of sad it has happened multiple times. Wonder if they were the first to go in their groups.

I legitimately think we might just take him for ourselves unless we got a god father offer.

Howie and the eagles have been pretty clear about how much they value the position.

Would be beyond stupid for a PhD DC who never played college ball to hire someone like Patricia. One of the worst possible ideas.

Taking a backup QB in the 1st would definitely set a precedence...for stupidity.😒

Broderick Jones may have more versatility, but I think Paris Johnson projects better as a tackle.

A "pain tolerance test”?

What did they do stab him in the ankle?

something about that sounds… like it’ll be outlawed in the next CBA.

We took Kolb with McNabb, signed Vick with Kolb and McNabb, signed Young when we had Vick, etc etc all the way to drafting Hurts when we had Wentz.

The eagles believe top end QBs are priceless. That’s their philosophy. A QB with Richardson’s potential isn’t making it past us at 30.

Sounds weird for sure.

Kolb was a 2nd rounder, McNabb was at the end of his career

Vick just got out of prison there wasn't a huge market for him, Reid took a chance.

Young was washed and signed fur peanuts comparatively.

Hurts was a 2nd RD pick and Wentz had an extensive injury history.

There's no way Howie takes a QB in the first round unless he's got a plan to run a 2 QB offense...

Funny how this happens every year at the combine yet I've yet to see a QB In a game fire a bullet at his receivers face from ten feet away.

It's almost like the drill is set up to nail the dudes in the face just Stupid...😒

No way in hell can anyone spin this as a good move. I want to actually vomit.

At 6'8" 300+ that's pretty impressive

Ran a sub 5 second 40 as well.

I imagine Stout took notice.

He was pretty good at BYU. Gave up a total of 2 sacks in 4 seasons.zero as a senior

Well, Belichick is likely the best LB coach in the history of football going all the way back to the Giants. Folks here scream about the Birds neglecting the LB position and not using it correctly and it is a nightmare if his #1 defensive disciple gets a job here coaching LBs? Feels like an "Urlacher" kind of story but it is possible that it would result much better LB play

Disappointing, but understandable.

Iosivas could be a real steal for someone. Like him But doesnt fit what we need

Wonder if Gannon brings him in.  Kinda screws the guy over to get dumped this late in the offseason.

Players popped champagne in the locker room when he was fired. Slay STILL doesn’t like him and said so just at media night before the SB. His attitude and demeanor is a direct contrast to everything Sirianni preaches and even Howie looks for in a coach. There’s just no way I can be convinced he brings something as a LB coach that’s worth putting up with everything else.

And the screaming about neglect has to do with the assets invested in the position. It’s not like they are pumping a first round pick like Reagor or a 2nd like JJAW and not seeing results.

Expected Patterson to time better. Still would take him

Doubtful. Gannon also passed over him to bring in someone from the same staff. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Seattle and took Desai’s old role as AHC and DB’s. Bills could be an option also since their DC job just opened up.

I also think this is mostly his choice to leave.

DJ said he feels Skoronski best fit is at guard and has potential to be a dominating all pro one.

We are talking about using the #30 pick. Kolb went #36 overall. By taking a QB 6 spots earlier we would have the QB cost controlled for an extra year. McNabb started in Philadelphia for 3 more years after drafting Kolb and then played another 2 years. So, no, McNabb was not at the end of his career when we drafted Kolb.

We signed Vick with McNabb AND the #36 overall pick Kevin Kolb on the roster. And we took a huge risk and publicity hit to do it. If that doesn’t show you how much we value QB then I don’t know what else will.

Young was 1 year removed from the pro bowl when he signed in Philly. In 2010 he had a 98 QB rating but was sidelined mid season with a knee injury. This idea that he was washed up when we signed him just isn’t true. He was still young and the trajectory in his play was up since he was reinstated as the Titans starter in 2009.

Hurts was taken #53 overall in 2020. Wentz had started all 16 regular season games during the 2019 season with career highs in competitions, attempts, and yards. So, no, it wasn’t because of injury. Maybe some locker room issues, but Wentz was coming off the healthiest season in his career. Yes, he got knocked out of the playoffs, but that was a helmet to helmet hit, not anything that put his ability to start consistently into question.

I’ll say it again: if Richardson, or any other high potential QB, is available at #30 we are either getting a godfather offer or taking the guy ourselves.
