Robinson or Gibbs are the only backs I’d think about pulling the trigger on in the 2nd. Robinson will be long gone by then, and I highly doubt Gibbs would be there when the Eagles are on the clock. Depending on how the board shakes out, they should have several good selections in the 3rd. Would love for them to trade back and pick up some additional mid round picks though. Really like Roschon Johnson, and think he will still be there late in the 3rd or 4th round.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Carr would be a much better pick up for the Jets than Rodgers would be.  Rodgers offers 1-2 years of being a complete pain in the arse and getting the team nowhere — which would be a typical Jets move.

Carr is in the same category as Dak and Cousins, but would at least provide stability at the position

I think it makes them a playoff team. Which is I guess progress. However you still have the long term issue of winning a SB and it’s not really any closer with carr. So basically in a purgatory of being wild card playoff team

If the goal is to win, don't draft Bijan at 10.
If the goal is to just have a good time, then let's ride with Bijan.

If they take him at 10 over any of the top CBs, my neighbors are not going to be thrilled with the onslaught of loud, vocal obscenities.

That jets defense is stacked and has a few  nice weapons on offense, all they really need is a competant QB, Carr with the raiders consistently had horrible defenses with raiders.

There was a stat that no qb has had to score more points in  like the last 50 years to win.

Another stat showed he never had a Defense finish above 23rd or something crazy like that.

Dude gets a lot of undeserved heat.

If the goal is to have a good time, let's all just watch the games on crystal meth.

If the Eagles draft Bijan at 10, he better turn out to be a Hall of Famer.

I do think he's being underestimated a bit. He's an excellent player and isn't just a RB say like Henry. He brings a lot to the passing game as well.

I'd be flat out shocked if Eagles draft Robinson at 10. I'd be very very surprised if Eagles draft Gibbs at 30. It's just not what they do

I guess maybe Chase Brown is not going to be slept on after today.

I really do like Gibbs. Probably not going to get him but he would look really good here. Still think you need to sign a FA such as Alexander Mattison or even D'Ernest Johnson. Neither should cost a ton and have the size and ruggedness to run inside and close out games when needed. Gibbs, Mattison and Gainwell would be an awfully strong running back room.

Freeland made himself a bunch of money today

Yup.

Mentioned him earlier.

In 4 seasons at BYU he gave up 2 sacks none as a senior.

Only knock on him would be his arms aren't the longest and he plays a bit high sometimes.

I think he'd be a guy Stoutland could work with and eventually replace Lane when he's done, he played LT at BYU so not sure he's a Dillard who can't play RT but I wouldn't be mad if eagles took a flyer on him.

Before combine he was projected 4th-5th rd by some I imagine after today he might shoot up some boards maybe 3rd round???

* Played 2 years at RT 2 at LT

Not surprising - but still a beanpole. He did move smoothly.

At 6-8 it can be deceptive. Looks like a stoutland tackle

6'7" but yeah I agree I think he fits the kind of profile Stoutland looks for in his tackles.

Not to mention get him in the weight room and he can bulk up a bit he was just over 300 at combine at 302.

I love watching the combine.  Always have.  The NFL is really stepping up the marketing of the event, especially with fans able to attend now.  It was pretty entertaining yesterday when the QBs were airing it out and the crowd was getting in to it.

I don't know what NFL teams think of watching guys in spandex and we always hear not to trust combine numbers for that reason.  I think a neat concept to make it even more of a marketable event would be to have players do the on field work in full pads.  It would give NFL coaches a more accurate idea of what players can do on the field in their gear.  How would 40 times change if guys were padded up?  I love watching the line workouts and think it would be more beneficial to see OL pulling in pads rather than tights.  Also, they could add one more marketing aspect if they had them in their college unis one last time.

Never going to happen but think it would add a lot to the event.

Watching the XFL and the Houston Renegades have become my team of choice to cheer for.  One guy who has stood out every game is Jontre Kirklin.  I'd be on board with bringing him in for mini camp.
