Combine just confirms , real average draft

It seems like the deepest positions are CB and RB.  Certainly the consensus seems to be a lack of top end talent.  It does seem that the RAS scores for this class seem pretty good.  I would like to see how this year's class compares to other years.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I'm not comfortable going into the season with two rooks. We don't have a plethora of picks this year either. There's a decent amount of free agents, we need to grab one.

I wouldn't mind if the Eagles brought in a guy like Samaje Perine.  For a bowling ball he catches the ball pretty well.  He'd be a RBBC guy, not a lead RB guy.

His teammate Trayveon Williams as well; had excellent college tape but has been buried by depth in the pros.  Good KR guy as well.

Definitely would be on my free agent list.

Good job; I think you called that one last night.

Now the Jets get jerked around by Rodgers for a few weeks, then go desperately trying to get Jimmy G, and strikeout at the position.

That’s wild.

I listened to the new Inside the Birds so you wouldn't have to, you're welcome.

*Sean Desai is the new DC

*Some dude whose name I already forgot but we knew about weeks ago went to the Dolphins

*Mike Petine is still under contract with Vikings so he isn't coming here

*Matt Patricia might be coming here

Tune in next Monday for the "Unload the bag" pod from the Combine, Folks.

If he's hired as a LB coach I doubt they would have much interaction.

I'm sure they would.   Probably not a good idea unless they are planning on moving Slay.

Congratulations saints on securing an 8-9 record as long as you have him

Depending on what happens with the other 3 teams they are instantly the favorite in that division.  Rest of those-teams don't even have a QB.

We still have their 2nd round pick next year. We need to root harder for less wins.

Yeah, I turned it off after the coaching talk. They literally had nothing to add.

Yep. 8 wins might win the division unfortunately.

In that division it’ll be tough for them to be that bad.

Derek Carr is the worst QB situation in football: he’s just good enough to convince the FO to let him keep his job, but not good enough to ever really get the team to go anywhere.

I hope we do not hire Patricia. Aside from him being an ass, he has questionable character.

The worthlessness of Eagles beat writers & media cannot be overstated. They basically recap publicly available interviews & PCs and sometimes use a stats website that they spend 1 minute on to add a little flavor.

Is Gibbs elite? He’s being talked about in round 1.

He seems to be elite in the mold of the type of RB the Eagles have been interested in,  in round 1.

Looking at McCaffrey, and Dalvin Cook, who they've had 1st round interest in,  he's that explosive speed guy,  with receiving ability.

I don't think they'd take an elite big back there.  They take a pounding and break down quickly. I don't think they would have considered guys like Elliott or Fournette....

I think the Eagles could be enticed by an elite explosive type back.  There's not been many more explosive than Givbs in recent years.

DGunn used to be good and actually break stories because he had good sources in the building, but it seems like he slowly lost them since he was fired.

The story of David Carr was a tragedy. My grandfather was originally from Houston and an Oilers fan, so they were always my 2nd team when I was a kid. He and I both loathed the Titans after they left. My grandpop was so pumped when the Texans came about. I rooted hard for David Carr when he came out of Fresno. Kid had a ton of talent, but they ruined him by putting 5 scrubs in front of him and letting him get the ish kicked out of him every year.

Richardson will bring enough to the table to get wins.  I'm, I guess, less concerned than you about Richardson's passing being good enough.  Richardson has top RAS all time, with almost perfect height and weight for a QB. I'll take that.  I can get enough from that top RAS guy at QB or standing next to Fields, taking a pitch, throwing or running, or taking the snap and pitching to Fields.   2 top RAS QBs with fast 40s, who are also heavy.  Both guys cranked out a lot of TDs last year on the ground.  Very long runs.  If you have a great runner at QB like that,  4.43 at 244, compared to Jalens 4.59 at 222,  you have him run a lot, and having him run a lot will mean first downs, points and wins.   You should be noticing that the Eagles went to the Super Bowl, and Jalens running was a key part of that.  QB surge is a notable play, but just overall,  Hurts was one of the top runners along with Lamar and Fields.

Hurts was a runner the year before and got bounced in the playoffs round 1 because to win in this league one has to be able to pass the ball.

Hurts got much better this year at passing from the pocket, he was highly efficient adding his running ability to that makes him more dangerous. He threw for more yards than Mahommes in the bowl.

Fields has yet to show he can win through the air on a consistent basis and in college Richardson showed that he couldn't either.

It's not coincidence that a run first QB has never won a super bowl because it's not sustainable.

Who cares about RAS for a QB?

Manning Brady Brees Aikman  all pretty low RAS scores all super bowl winners.

Montana won 4 super bowls he wasn't a freak athlete.

Meanwhile Vick newton Lamar Cunningham all ringless.

Only running QB  with a Super bowl is Steve Young and he was the most efficient passer of his era.

If Richardson doesn't figure out how to win from the pocket history shows he'll be fun too watch until he gets to the playoffs because losing isn't fun.☹️

There was a tiny bit of FA whispers. But nothing much more than what we already figured out and said in here.

*Eagles might be interested in Hunt or Mattison

*Seumalo is going to get more than Big V. One person they talked to said they would love to add him but he's priced out of their plans.

*TJ Edwards has 2 to 3 teams other than the Eagles that are in on him.

*One guy they talked to thinks Hargraves market value is $13 or $14M APY. Which doesn't make sense.

*Caplan now denies saying the Eagles would tag CJGJ
