We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I'm not enamored with the DT crop in FA or the draft. I'd investigate Dre'Mont Jones but that's about it. Cancey maybe, but he's got them t-Rex arms. Jacquelin Roy is a bit of a sleeper of mine. Not much else as far as high draft picks. I'm not force feeding the spot with high draft picks I'm not crazy about.

I almost wonder if it would be better to have the draft before FA. I know the NFLPA would disagree but from a GM perspective I feel like it may be more advantageous

I am not sure it would be an advantage. FA first gives a team more certainty on what players will be leaving and coming into fill positions.  It's a disadvantage to not know what holes you need to fill or have been filled through Free Agency. .  If you were a team like the Panthers or Falcons, would you draft a QB not knowing if you could get Lamar in free agency or have to draft a QB because you didn't add Lamar.

Yeah.

I really dont understand Brown being so late either.

These websites suck. I cant help it.

Need TDN to get their act together. They have the only good simulator.

Agreed. Love TDN...there's like 40 days until the draft and their site is still not ready.

Miller has excellent contact balance; breaks lots of tackles and even when tackled gets the extra 2-3 yards on the way to the ground.

He's the logical and cheaper alternative to the folks wanting Kareem Hunt.

I really don’t understand the Hunt love.  Adding a RB who is on the downslope doesn’t make sense to me.

Trading down to target a player seems like such a bad idea because you don't know who might be interested in taking that player or then trading up ahead of you to take that player.

You apparently missed what the Board looked like at 10 in his Mock scenario:

Skoronski

Johnson

Nolan Smith

jones

Robinson

Witherspoon

Porter

Kancey

Murphy

There was no "targeting”

I was thinking Hunt as competition for Siposs ....

If the Ravens trade Lamar, it's assumed they'll go QB in round 1 with Atlanta's pick?

(Assuming it would take Atlanta's #8 pick, it seemingly would require that)

Atlanta also has nice weapons of London, pitts, Patterson and their oline was actually above average last year. If i were atlanta I’d take the chance especially considering the landscape of the nfc and nfc south.

I'd read somewhere they would bring in Baker Mayfield.  That would free them up to draft Jalen Carter, as they have Ray Lewis available to mentor Carter on how to be an upstanding citizen.

He'd be a rotational back and he's always been a good receiver. I think as a rotational back he'd be good assuming the cost isn't too high. I don't think it will be. I don't think the Eagles will be looking for a primary ball carrier. They always rotate backs anyway.

Good point

all I know is the Eagles better get a running back that can pass block and help with blitz pick up. Because this has been an issue for a while and dating back to 2020. Heck they brought back Jordan Howard near the end of 2020 because they didn’t have any other running back that could pass protect at a high enough level. Even this past year i didn’t think sanders, Scott or gainwell did a good job in that area.

Maybe they get Ridder back and go after Garoppolo. They’d have a ton of options

Shady was so good at that, his most underrated talent

He was. What more shocking to me is that I thought Sanders was an adequate pass blocker as a rookie. He was not great but he wasn’t bad. He was getting better at it as the season went along. And somehow was worse after his rookie year

If Lamar goes to Atlanta hopefully that puts them ahead of NO to improve that 2nd round draft pick for the following year.

Trading down with the intention of trading down to target a player in trading down is targeting.

His hands got worse, too.

Overrated player by a lot of people in this fan base.

This is Stout's guy. That hair is gorgeous.

I'm pretty sure the Ravens have been preparing for this inevitability for a few months now.

Well, they do have a Pro Bowler ready to roll into the starter role.

Sanders has this weird trend where he's good and bad at something one year, then the next year he's good and bad at something else, year after year. Like he can never put together a complete season.
