Sure it has been posted already, but good news rumor nonetheless.  But then again it is being reported by Eskin so that almost definitely means the opposite is true.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I really hope the super bowl appearance, and allure of playing with Jalen Hurts draws some vets in on cheap deals.

Keeping Graham and Cox at bargains would go a long way to shoring up DL depth. Adding someone like Wagner or Kendricks in the LB corps would be a massive upgrade over either of Edwards or White.

All youd need to hit on is a CB in the draft. No one else would really need to be pressed to play right away. Lot less pressure on any DE or DT drafted after that point.

We’d need something at S. Blakenship and Wallace as starters would be gross.

Tua is a couple concussions away from retirement.

I'm fine with Blankenship starting.  I don't see anyway that they go with Wallace as the other starter though.

Crazy how much the career for Rodgers is mirroring Favre's.

I think thatll be easy. Rapp, Epps, Blankenship, Rookie. Something like that is good for me.

I really think the Eagles will restructure Slay and post June 1st cut him saving around 17M right now. The Eagles can get someone like Dean that is 26 or even trade for a younger option and save money.

Slay had a great first half then trailed off. I’d be fine replacing him with Dean BUT he is a big leader on this defense. That can’t just be completely overlooked.

Blankenship and Maddox.  Then double dip at CB.  Witherspoon/Gonzalez with the first CB pick and Bankswith the second CB pick.

It's a little early to panic. I've been critical of Howie in the past but he always makes moves. Sometimes they don't work certainly not as well as last year but he always does something.  I wouldn't worry about the Eagles doing nothing

We are losing half our starting defense right now. Another leader will step up. Our offense is good enough to compete, let the aging defenders go and bring in youth on defense that isn’t expecting to be top paid at their positions.

Who knows if there's any truth to this but BG at $6 million/year for 2 years would be a great value.

Seems kinda high. We got two years of Chris Long for under $6M total.

They also have $18M in dead money because of Graham. I know you have to separate that from a new deal to fairly judge it, but that’s still a lot going against the cap for a role player.

New deal will push some of the dead cap back to later years. So keeping him at that price won’t cost much more than letting him go for 2023

What day does Graham’s contract automatically void? Wouldn’t a reworked contract extend the void years and save us like 9M on the cap this year?

We're 5 years removed from Chris Long so adjusting for contract inflation doesn't seem bad no?

The QB he was protecting might have been a factor.

I’d argue he’s just not put in the same effort into that area like he did as a rookie.  the only way he was seeing the field early in his career with Duce as the RB coach was knowing and being solid in pass pro. If he wasn’t they would just use Jordan Howard.

I would hope no one is 'in' Lamar. That's just wrong.

100% agree.

Players did that for Brady and Mahomes. Jalen and Howie need to recruit.

It doesn’t. The way they structured it was so they could post June 1st him. If he’s on the roster the 2nd day of the new league year he gets some crazy amount guaranteed under the current deal. If they extend him it would get rid of that clause but his cap hit would stay the same, if not slightly more.

It would keep the dead money where it is, it wouldn’t push anything additional besides the new deal bonus.

Ahh okay. Thanks for the info.
