Would gizz.

That would rival the excitement I had last year after Davis, AJ, Dean. (I was very high on Davis pre draft)

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

By avoiding free agents this year, we'll clean up on comp picks and improve our cap space.
Next year, we won't have to worry about the comp pick game given who our UFAs are and can weaponize that cap space.

Good teams plan ahead instead of reacting year to year.

at worst, we should get 2 3's and 2 4's for comp picks with CGJ, Hargrave, Bradberry and Isaac leaving.  May actually be higher.....meaning more 3's......but based upon my worst case, we would have next year:

Eagles' own pick
Eagles' own pick
From Saints
Eagles' own pick
Eagles' own pick
From Vikings (can become fourth-round pick if conditions are met)
Eagles' own pick
Eagles' own pick, or the Titans' sixth-round pick, whichever is better

These along with 2 additional 3's and 2 additional 4's would give the Eagles 9 picks in the first 4 rounds......not bad to reload!

We will never get that many high comps

be lucky to get a three and four, if that

Next year's draft class is considered much better than this year's too.

That is incorrect, the maximum number of comp picks a team can be awarded in a given year is 4.  The Eagles are going to lose CGJ, Bradberry, Hargrave, Isaac, Edwards, Cox and potentially more.  It is based upon contracts given to players lost vs. players signed.  The Eagles will not be signing big name free agents so it's more about the players they lose and the contracts they sign.

Not only will they get 4 comp picks, they absolutely will be high comp picks.

Take a look at the 3rd/4th round picks given to players. Most of the players signed to those big deals did not live up to their contracts. The 3s & 4s are generally worth it.

Using the 30 to 38 trade I got the following.  Gotta love the grades on Gibbs and McBride.

I personally would choose Kendra Miller rather than McBride, but I went with the aforementioned RB corps of Gainwell Gibbs McBride and Sermon.

I wanted Derrius Davis as a WR/PR but he went earlier than my picks.

Just FYI…after you complete your draft, right above the player groupings is "copy” or "download.” Just click the copy button then come here and click reply then click in the text field and choose "paste.”

Depends what we do in FA. All 4 of those guys are going to get paid.

What do people think of Julius Brents as a safety conversion?

Someone with that size and corner skills sure would be great against the athletic freaks playing TE these days.

Like him. Viewed him ad a corner though

Then you add in the possibility of trading back from 10 or 30 and maybe getting a 2024 pick as well as the potential of Brian Johnson maybe getting a HC gig.  Then you get a 3rd in 2024 and a 3rd in 2025.

To add to it, the FA they add could very well come in the form of players who have been released (John Johnson, Frank Clark, Erik Kendricks etc.) who don't count towards the comp pick formula.  You can all but guarantee that Howie is looking at that when comparing players.

A bit lean IMO, probably better off as an outside CB.  Nice player to look at in the middle rounds though.

I can’t believe Howie hasn’t signed a FA yet. Asleep at the damn wheel!

I'm so sick of him.  If he doesn't deliver another Super Bowl in the next 2 weeks he needs to go!

Who is our swing tackle for next year?

How are the Browns looking into all these guys?  Over the cap has them at $-14 million in cap space and Sportrac has them at $-13.5 million under the cap

They can restructure Watson and save 33M by converting his salary to a bonus.
