Now the Panthers need a WR.  Think the Eagles contact Frank about Quez?  He can't replace DJ Moore but for a mid-round pick he would give the new QB a deep threat.

Not sure they’d be interested in trading any more picks

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

I don’t think this trade happens for Stroud. You don’t make this leap if you think there’s 2-3 guys at the top of the draft worth the #1 overall pick… you make this trade if you think there’s 1 single guy you can’t miss out on.

People who have Stroud over Young have it because of size concerns or athleticism preference. People who have Young over Stroud have it because they believe he’s so generational the size concerns don’t matter.

This trade to me indicates Carolina is in the latter group.

There’s nothing generational about Bryce Young.  He walked into the Combine with the identical physical measurements of Kyler Murray, only not as fast or agile, and without the plus throwing arm.

You continue to show your massive ignorance.  I am not "arguing for it.”  I am illuminating it as an alternative worth discussing.  You are looking at this from an either/or closed mind set.  I’m looking at it from a both/and exploration of all the alternatives open mind.

You're not arguing for it, you just keep pushing terrible "alternative" options that aren't worth discussing at all because how terrible they are to the only smart and good option of re-signing Hurts.

Should the Bengals trade Burrow instead of giving him a new deal?

Right, but most teams don’t draft for combine measurements. they draft for their ability to play QB, in which young* has been the best prospect 2 years running

My guess-

1 CAR - Stroud

2 HOU - Young

3 Indy - Levis from Cards

4 Chi - Carter from Cards

5 LV  - Richardson from SEA

6 DET - Gonzalez

7 SEA - Anderson

8 ATL - Bijan

9 AZ - Paris Johnson

10 PHI - Tyree Wilson

Lions wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have Anderson across from Hutchinson and that’s way too high for Bijan

Panthers still have:

1, 39, 93, 114, 132, 145, 226.  Having 4 picks between 93 and 145 is darn good and helps them be incredible flexible.  1 pick every 20 instead of 1 every 32 lessens the talent level between picks but also lets them move up and down the middle rounds as they wish (if they were smart).

Quez for 132 would be a great deal but I think 145 would be more realistic.

Hutchinson and Anderson on the lions would be absolutely ridiculous

Would package 250 & Quez for 114. We need a 4th rounder.

Especially when Atlanta’s RB just went for 1k yards & was a late round guy.

I will say though, have no idea where Bijan goes

Atlanta has so many other needs. They’re rebuilding.

If Carter doesn’t hit 10, take a Corner. It has to be done.

Yeah they wouldn’t pass up on defensive guys for Bijan. Makes no sense.

Bijan dropping to 30 *could* happen, I’d be cool with Eagles taking him there

Why trade a guy that just scored 4 tds in a Super Bowl year two for a Fields or a Stroud that will never even play in a Super Bowl period 🤣🤣

It cant be a serious opinion. That would be the dumbest move of all time. Those two would be forever compared, and Fields will be out of the league before Devonta’s rookie contract is up.

I Fing love this place

I don't understand the hate for Fields.  He's been on a bad team.  He doubled his TDs from his rookie year going from 7 to 17 and rushed for nearly 1200 yards and 10 TDs as well.

Justin Fields year 2.  2242 yards, 17 TD, 11 Int.  1200 yards rushing, 10 TD  16 fumbles

Jalen Hurts year 2. 3100 yards, 16 TD, 9 Int.  780 yards rushing, 8 TD    9 fumbles

Not saying Fields is as good as Hurts, nor does he seem to be the leader Hurts is, but let's see him in year 3 with a 2nd consecutive year under the same coaching staff (the same thing we said about Jalen last year).  He's also going to have better weapons this time around with the addition of DJ Moore and whoever else they might add.

Burrow has pretty much the same injury risk profile as Brady … a fraction of the injury risk profile of Hurts.

Here are two questions for you (1) the only thing you talk about is Hurts, but you seem hell-bent to end all discussion of Hurts.  What other non-Hurts topics do you want to talk about?  (2) what "harm” do you see in discussing Hurts alternatives other than the one you prefer?

Agreed 100%

Panthers - Stroud

Texans - Young

Colts (trade with ARI) - Levis

Cardinals - Tyree Wilson

Seahawks - Anderson Jr

Lions - Gonzalez

Raiders - Richardson

Falcons - Jalen Carter

Bears - Darnell Wright

Unsure what Eagles do here, I suppose Witherspoon. Maybe LVN

Trade down or Witherspoon.

I don’t hate Fields I do think he is going to be a good QB, he has the talent but I think we are good here with our QB.

Oh, I wasn't making that statement saying they should trade for him.  Just seems like in general there's a very negative opinion of him on the boards.

I think Fields will develop, but I don’t see the high ceiling. Major difference between him and Hurts is Jalen has a legendary mentality when it comes to preparation. He got better because he didn’t give himself a choice in the matter. Fields is still cashing checks off of pure athletic talent.
