Ok, maybe. That will still be no problem in 2023 for us.

That I agree with. If we gave Hurts the exact same Kyler Murray contract his cap hit would only be around $7M. There' also other bonus structures and techniques Howie can use to maybe even lower it slightly.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Obviously not an exaggeration since Slay has made 4-5 previous pro bowls (without this defensive line).

Not sure what your agenda is but blaming the secondary because Gannon was not able to adjust to Andy Reid’s game plan and Patrick Mahomes’ execution of Andy Reid’s gameplan is laughable.

There were LITERALLY players NOT covered on multiple touchdowns by the Chiefs.

Inexcusable.

2 of the TDs were on the same play which was the fake orbit motion when in man coverage.  I don't think that was a play the Chiefs had run previously but it was the same play the Jags had run against the Eagles and scored.  The Eagles should have adjusted and that's at least a coaching issue.  They should have had a plan for the same motion.  The problem was thThe other was on the blitz when Sky Moore was left uncovered.  They may not have accounted for him on a 0 blitz.

Would you be upset if there was a health clause in the contract?

Do we know that Mayo is for sure off the table?

He's apparently turned down jobs, but I'd like the Eagles to at least ask him. This is an attractive job.

On one hand RBs are dime a dozen and on the other, a truly elite RB could win us games by controlling clock. Sanders here, Gainwell there wasn’t enough in the end. This line + great RB would be dangerous.

I would like a RB to shoulder the load, not Hurts - especially at 50 mil/year.

Maddox was shadowing Moore on the presnap motion.  Slid on that crap field as Moore broke to the outside leaving him uncovered

Tyjae Spears would be a great fit here.

I'd love to get someone like Blount again

The "health clause” in any NFL mega contract is the amount not guaranteed.

Zach Charbonnett in RD3.

Here’s where I need to be educated a bit: isn’t this supposed to be the role for Goedert? If we think he’s in the Kelce/Kittle level, shouldn’t he be dominating this area of the field? Otherwise, wouldn’t attaining a great slot be a bit redundant?

Goedert is NOT in the Kelce/Kittle level of TE.

Any chance Chase Young is available in a trade?

The chance is low.

Welp - but why overplay the motion when they were burnt on that play.

Kelce is a 1st ballot HOFer.  So no, Goedert is not there yet.

As far as being on a "Kittle” level, he’s close and can get even closer if he continues to get better, stay healthy, etc

Kelce no, he’s his own God level tier.

Andrews, Kittle and Goedert are all in the next tier.

Then you get into Hockenson, Pitts; both of whom could jump into that next tier.

After that it’s a steep drop. Pat F in Pitt is prob next, Gesicki is OK but will never be "great”; and then you have a handful of guys that are sort of the same

Not sure if everyone has tried or even knows about "Dark Mode" (which is a dark version of our theme), but if you haven't seen it or don't know about it, try it out and let me know what you think of it.

To switch to it, scroll to the very bottom of the board and click where it says "Theme", then click 'Eagles Dark Mode'. From there, you'll either see 'Change Mode' or maybe a little icon of a half filled in circle. Click that to go from Light Mode to Dark Mode.

Just another option for you to view the board with.

*Should also save on cell phone battery life if you’re on your phone while here.  (Dark mode on most apps uses less power, etc)

Kittle isn't at Kelce's level.  Goedert is close to Kittle in terms of ability and production.  Goedert has better agility and speed but worse hands than Kittle.  Kelce is better than both of them and it's not close.

Not sure if it’s possible to make the lettering slightly brighter but that could help, imo.

Hes better than Kittle right now, today.

I haven’t seen enough of Kittle tbh but knowing what we have in Goedert, I don’t doubt it.

There's also a moon (?) icon near the top of the page that I used to switch.

Looks like the Eagles are promoting Brian Johnson to offensive coordinator.  Good move, imo.
