I can’t imagine them going into a season with trey lance knowing the window is now and coming off a major injury. I’m thinking brady somehow winds up there.

SF just spent huge money to upgrade a position of strength and they continue to bank on two QB's who could quite easily end up being average at best. Nobody should be scared of them.

Sometimes I wonder what Solak is watching. Hargrave is an exceptional pass-rusher, but he's a minus in the run game.

I don't think you should get much push back on that. He's a great Monday to Saturday coach and schemer. Gameday leaves a lot to be desired though. 

One thing about our current DTs.

The Cowboys had five DTs play 1,500 snaps last year, and they generated 111 tackles, 5 sacks, 14 tfls and 16 qb hits.

Williams, Davis and Tuipulotu played 850 snaps and generated 52 tackles, 5 sacks, 11 tfls and 8 qb hits.

Williams, Davis and Tuipulotu could easily double their snap counts this year and would likely, even if they didn't get any better, produce numbers at least on par with the tackles on a defense that was top 5 last year. And there is a world where Davis takes a big leap.

 

Good for Howie though. This team has to get younger and hungrier. After a season like last year, when they hit adversity this year, you want young, hungry players who are looking to prove themselves. Not older guys who already have $$$.

Yeah and if my aunt had a P she'd be my uncle. I would prefer Hargrave not gone there but they were already strong on the DL and their QB situation is questionable and that is putting it mildly. The only thing that is absolutely embarrassing is how much you are overreacting to this.

Why? That's a massive contract, and everyone and their mother knew he wasn't coming back here. The Niners took a strength and made it a little stronger. They still don't have a QB.

The best part about this is that the Cowboys can't even celebrate it.

This was a huge lose. Massive. Hargrave was a major key to their pass rush and he just went to a top NFC team.

Just realized Bears have pick 53, 61, and 64.  you taking 2 of them for pick 30?
