I’d trade back from 10 to 13-15 if someone is willing to move up. I think there’s value from 10-22 in this draft where you get some extra picks and still a good player that’s close to being ranked the same.

The Eagles will spend over $50 million lees this year than they would if the void years did not exist.  It is a zero sum game.  No money is magically produced.  When you borrow from the future you have to eventually pay the money back.  The AAVs of the new contracts being made with void years now are higher, but the AAVs of future contracts in the years where the void year money is accelerated into the current cap will be lower. 

You are correct there is no direct link between the balloon mortgages and the void year NFL balloon amounts.  They are different marketplaces, but money is money and the impacts on their respective marketplaces is similar enough to be a lesson that can be learned.
