I read a report saying Purdy will resume throwing in 3 months but won't be cleared for full activities for 6 months, meaning he won't be around for OTA's or preseason.  He'd just be back to fully cleared to practice around the start of the regular season.

Who knows what the Niners will get out of him when he returns, either -- that 7-game stretch (or whatever it was) might be as good as it gets for him.  Might be Lance starting with Darnold as #2 next season.

He also has Ryan Neal 3rd.  Obviously this website is usually a little crazy but he's a 6 foot 3 200 pound safety with some good measureables that Dessai would have 1st hand knowledge on

Damn, Howie should've beat this deal. Only 26. Now that him and Sutton are off the table we have to pay the older guys. And overpay at that.
