Depends on the cost, but he's young, gotten better every year playing for a dumpster fire and had 5.5 sacks and 20 QB hits in 13 games last year.

I just think he's a bit over rated. I don't see the explosion of the ball, seems slow getting to the the QB and getting off blocks. Not really big or stout enough for DT. He's pretty strong but just not enough burst for me. 

Maybe the longer wait is good news for Bradberry and CJGJ

Fair enough. Interestingly while he had about half the amount of sacks, he did match JH in QB hits and TFL without anywhere near the help on the DL that he'd have here. Fewer games, too.

I'm not saying he's some slam dunk player, but for a few cheap years? I'm for it.

He's Brandon whiting to me, except back when whiting played there was a bit more value in having a LDE who could set the edge against the run on early downs and move inside on passing downs.

In a passing league where every down is a passing down a bigger DE who is better against the run than a pass rusher doesn't have as much value.

Didn't want Zach Allen anyway. Seeing people be fake excited about him potentially becoming the next Hargrave, when that was never going to happen, would've been insufferable for the next 6 months.

The 2023 Eagles have lost their edge
