We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Fair enough. Interestingly while he had about half the amount of sacks, he did match JH in QB hits and TFL without anywhere near the help on the DL that he'd have here. Fewer games, too.

I'm not saying he's some slam dunk player, but for a few cheap years? I'm for it.

of we have to choose one of those arizona players being hyped here, definitely take this guy over Murphy.

Interesting that outside some backup TE’s there has been nothing on any skill players

I'm not too high on him either really

theres absolutely no reason to be. He flat out sucks.

Hargrave signing elsewhere, theoretically, is good news.

4 years 84m is ridiculous if you have ANYTHING in Davis and Williams.  Take it as a vote of confidence.

Now if I could have picked one team in the NFL for Hargrave to not sign with, SF would have been it.

Yup that front 4 that was already pretty good just got a lot better.

The money he got though you're right pretty ridiculous.

Damnit

I like Zach Allen, but that's a projection.

Zach Allen to Denver.

I always wanted to let Hargrave walk anyway, but you all do realize that THIS is actually the year the cap catches up with Howie, right?

They have the most dead money in the league wrapped up from their prior bad decisions (the ones we said Howie made magically go away because the cap doesn't matter with him) and will be losing impact starters while not being active in tier 1 FA.  That's kind of proof that the cap actually is real and does matter.

I don't disagree with letter almost all of them walk under the circumstances, but it's still a reflection of prior mistakes and dead cap that have not, in fact, been undone.

Backup QBs are pricey as hell this go around...

Someone will pay Minshew $10 million plus

Dre'Mont Jones is still out there. Would much rather him than Allen.

We got deeper in it when covid happened. that had to have thrown off all of his calculations when the cap stopped increasing.

We can still sign impact starters. There are numerous available, and likely to still be some in round 2 of free agency.

He's going to get Hargrave level money

Damn, I have been getting cooked for the past few pages haha.

I wouldn't have paid that, but he's gonna be a valuable player for Denver. Underrated (by fans) player.

I should add, that Howie has prepared for this well. As soon as the cap "catches up" to him, he is stockpiled with early round draft picks. Extra 1st this year, and a ton of picks in the top 3 rounds next year. He saw it coming and had a plan.

I’m guessing they bring Cox back on a 1 year deal. Felt like that since Graham re-signed. I don’t think a team like the Browns could overpay him because of how much their QB costs.

You can't sign big contracts in FA every year. This is the year we sit out. If we're disciplined this year, next year we'll have cap space in a much better FA class.

Wish Howie could work off the PFN board
