Both can be true.

Nope. He's terrible.  Kinda like Diggs for Dallas. Beat all the time.

Have you ever watched him?

I'd trade 30 for Ramsey, draft a CB at 10 and trade Slay. A little complicated, but you get younger across the board.

Steelers in talks with Rams about trading Ramsey for pick 32.  Should we give them pick 31?

Yes for sure

Wow, definitely zero love for Gannon on this, just so disappointing that In the biggest game if the year Gannon shows up playing scared.

Just a miserable defensive performance by the players and Gannon.

The only guy I can think of that made a play the whole game was CGJ coming up and destroying Pacheco, which is mentioned in the article above.

That was it and nothing before or after that.

Just sad.

I'm mad about the field I think it hurt the eagles more than the chiefs, Im mad at the refs I think they hosed the eagles more than the chiefs and saying that all of that is out of their control, what they can control is how they play how they call the game and the defense failed big time.

I know it’s still early and I’m still upset/disappointed/looking for answers but lets separate ourselves from 49ers fans and give the Chiefs their due.

The last thing I want to hear about the entire off-season is about the field and "what if”.   The field was an issue - no doubt.  But the Chiefs played on the same field and apparently didn’t even need to change their cleats.  Whose fault is that?

Some conspiracy?  Doubtful.

Any equipment tech; assistant coach - even the head coach could have gone out on the field, asked about the conditions during pre game warmups etc etc and determined it was a bad and slippery field.  Why didn’t any of our guys do that?

In my opinion, the so called "conspiracy” ends there.  If anything, we conspired against ourselves for:

A. Not being ready for it

B. Not adjusting equipment in time

C. Not making defensive scheming adjustments to adapt to the slippery field.

This might be the least accurate football comment in the history of the blog.

I guess you don't watch any rams games...

Yep.

CJGJ instagram has an interesting post that might suggest he's leaving.

He deserves to get paid. If it can't be with the Eagles, then best of luck and thank you for a great season. The hit he laid on Pacheko was the best defensive moment of the SB for the Birds.

That's disappointing if Howie can't get him a contract

Hopefully he's just talking about how 2022 was an awesome season for Eagles

The Sod father who has done sod for every Superbowl including this one is employed by the chiefs and a life long chiefs fan

It's not out of the realm of possibility to suggest the chiefs had beforehand knowledge about the field conditions which is why they had proper footwear from the get go

Having said that Jason said he went out in the field pre game after hearing how bad it was ran around a bit testing it out and said he had zero problem with it, he and Travis said for guys that are in their toes like skill players gsd s tough time, didnt mention but should of that speed ball edge guys like Reddick and sweat play in their toes.

The field sucked it negatively Impacted the eagles in my opinion more so than the chiefs And again Gannon sucked worse, really poorly called game Reid coached circles around him.

What's worse is that we're never going to get any closure on this from Gannon.

NFL combine will be happening it 2 weeks, hopefully some of the Philly news outlets will send beat writers to grill Gannon

Yep.  He definitely showed up and was among the better defensive players - not only in the Super Bowl - the entire season. (When healthy).

Not sure why they wouldn't re sign this dude.

He can play all over the defensive secondary is a ball hawk, is super high energy passionate guy so why let him walk?

For who for what.

Kelce also just said Hurts didn't get anything on the Hail Merry because he stepped on his foot.🤷‍♂️

Yup dude should of been run out of town after that super bowl win and instead he tucks tail and nails out to Arizona avoiding all the Philly backlash.

I wouldn't read that far into that, something tells me Howie will get it done.

Just watch the All 22.  No closure needed.

Bad scheme.  And the adjustments were weak.  No preparation for this team.  High motion and lots of dink dunk with a good run game. We countered with do nothing at all different whatsoever.   Don't double a guy, stand on the back of your heels watching motion when you should be playing downhill.  Rush 4 and drop 7.  Vanilla blitz was the big sea change.

Cincy had great results with 3/8 and we just ignore that. Hubris.

Unreal.  Just staggeringly bad.

I'm about 90% sure he's on top of Howie's list to resign.  (Or should be).

There might not be that guy in free agency. Hypothetically, maybe there’s somebody that’s decent in free agency. But a team might want to unload a greater player cause don’t wanna pay him/whatever issue but he’s a great player. Then the trade option is better. Hence, AJ Brown. They could’ve went to free agency like you said signed juju smith Schuster last year. They tried and it didn’t workout (frankly nowhere near what aj brown is). So they went and got AJ Brown because he is a great player, worth the pick they gave up and worth what he got paid. Your argument is essentially juju in FA and pick 18 is better than aj brown? I don’t buy that cause i don’t know who they take at 18 that makes up for the difference in just pure talent of brown and juju. Your original argument was because we don’t have cap space so howie won’t do that. I called bullcrap because if there’s a player of that magnitude at a position they covet they would be willing to give up the 30th pick manipulate the cap to make it work.

Your free agency point only makes sense is the players are equal. if the player is better or equal in FA then yes go that way to preserve the pick. however if it’s something like trading a first for aj brown or signing juju in free agency so you can use pick 30 I’m still taking aj brown because he’s a great player and significantly better than juju and the risk the player at 30 pans out

No its about the net talent of one guy and a draft pick vs other guy…

The only adjustment I noticed is that they started doubling/paying more attention to Travis Kelce - and we slowed him down - but not their offense.
