We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

That was my prediction for today. He didn't sign anywhere.

I'm gonna say Panthers -- 3 years, $38.5M total.

someone said he signed somewhere.

People just assumed he was going to end up getting a lot after one of the contracts yesterday

Any chance Eagles trade for Elijah Moore for slot receiver?  I think him and AJ are tight and I think he wants out of NY

Would be awesome. It would unlock jet sweeps, screens, orbit motions, etc.

Whatever this means, but yea, you do Lamar.

I would love it but no chance. He’s not happy in NY. He wouldn’t be happy here as the 4th option getting 30-40 catches.

Don't know where the 200 million came from but it was reported a while ago that he turned down 133 million guaranteed

Agents typically make what 5-10% of the players salary so he probably netted himself an extra $7-$14/million.  Assuming an agent couldn't make him more than that

You know, with Jakobi Myers headed to the Raiders, that may make Hunter Renfrow expendable. Had a down year last year, but the guy can slot with the best of them. Plus, well...you know.

Actually, a 3-year fully guaranteed contract should likely get a deal done; there is precedent from a sane organization (sort of) when the Vikings gave Kirk Cousins a 3-year, fully guaranteed contract.  Jackson is simply being greedy looking for over and above the Deshaun Watson deal.

That was another thing Joe Banner said in his interview.  80% of players Lamar Jackson's age end up being paid the full value of their signed contract, so what he's insisting on really isn't even important in practical terms -- unless he wants to continue taking 5-6 games off per season and still being paid 100% of the schedule.

I added that last part, not Banner.

Usually its 2-3% for NFL. But I still have no idea what the tweet means because he didn't agree to anything and there is no deal.

Wondering if Howie does a trade on draft day with NYJ?  10 for 13, 3rd rounder and Moore

Jets are going to sign a 39 year old TE because they have no shame.

All I know is this Lamar Jackson hasn’t finished the last two years. He’s missed more than a quarter of the season each of the last two years. Plus before he got hurt his on field production had declined over the last three years. some of this is due to the talent that was around him not being all that great. However, if you’re paying somebody close to 45 million per year, the talent around them is likely not going to get any better. I don’t see anyone giving him a fully guaranteed 5 year contract unless the jets miss out on rodgers and get super desperate. I have a feeling unless he changes his mind he’s likely gonna play on that franchise tag.

Please let rodgers say he wants to stay in Gb. Please please.

I don't recall anyone really calling them sane after that deal.  Most felt they highly overpaid - and they did.  I think it was something close to an avg of $28 mil per year for 3 years.  That's really no different than a team giving the same sort of player (above avg, but not top 3) $120 - to $130 mil fully guaranteed for 3 years today.

Wonder if he was hoping that Tua would retire and he could step into that offense. Rodgers with Hill and Waddle would have been deadly

Lamar Jackson right now is making agents far more money than him hiring one ever would
