Scott is fine or whatever. Just hoped for a little more upside considering Penny is injury prone.

Lost

Starting DT - Hargrave

Two starting LB's - Edwards and White

Starting S - Epps

I get that we were going to lose some good players and have to rely on some young players and draft picks to rebuild the defense but dang. We are probably going to lose at least one of Bradberry and CJGJ if not both, as well. This isn't good.

I feel the same about it. This doesnt change anything as far as they still need to draft a mid round RB.

Penny, Gainwell, Scott, Mid round pick is what they are likely to roll with at RB. If Penny stays healthy we will be more than fine there but there is probably a better chance of peace breaking out in the middle east.

4 million a year for a backup RB is just stupid. Between that and giving Alex Singleton 6 million a year on multi-year deal the Broncos are throwing around money like morons.

Oh boy. Now the room is Penny, Gainwell, Scott...do they like Sermon or Kennedy enough to not draft someone? I hope not. This is an awesome RB class.

I think this lessens Gibbs as a possibility a bit. I could see one of the three down type backs around round 3 maybe 4 now.

Yeah i think the longer this plays out the higher hopes i have that CJGJ or bradberry returns. It tells me the market might not be paying as much as they want or asking. It’d be really nice if we somehow got both to return.

And they let Jones go

Curious what happens with trey sermon. They kept him on the active roster all year. I have to imagine they have a plan for him cause if they just cut him training camp then keeping him all last year and never playing him makes it less and less worthwhile to do

I think many would agree with that, but not necessarily Howie.  He may be rolling the dice hoping his bad luck is behind him.

As always, It’ll depend on who is available with their picks. If RB is the best available guy, I don’t think they’d pass one up philosophically in the middle rounds.

Cheap enough - not sure what his salary is though

Only $9.9M.

He's 27, which, in RB years, is about 35.

Sorry just turned 27.

I know he’s had injuries and can’t speak to how they’ve healed or not, but he’s also had less carries in the last 4 years combined than Sanders had just last season.

All going as expected. No panic

Base and a few small bonuses, it's a little under $10M for one year.

Lol just yesterday you called me a drama queen for saying Hargrave to the team you played in the NFCCG was a big loss, and now one day later you hop on the worry train.

‘And for the record, the only loss I care about as of right now is Hargrave. I think everyone else is wholly replaceable.

If CGJ and Bradberry leave then yes it’ll be a big problem.

That Gilmore trade is the best move any NFC East team has made thus far this free agency.

They did the same thing with Holyfield. I don't think there is necessarily a plan other than they wanted him to have a full offseason here.

And Pumphrey is asking if you want fries with that.......

The only one out of the group I'm bummed about is Hargrave but we knew that was coming. The other 3 are replaceable.

And now were on Slay watch....

Not sure how I feel about this though. I don't think he's a true #1 and he's kinda old as well.

If we can keep CGJ too that'll be yuge

Hey, Howie did something of significance.  Figures the one guy that everyone felt was a goner heading into FA.
