Younger guys who are solid starters- Julian Love, Thornhill, Keanu Neal, Rapp (didnt he sign yet? thought he did), Karl Joseph, Nick Scott

Wouldnt have expected anything more than a camp body sort of deal. Theres no guarantee he makes it out of camp. Lets see how much burst he still has coming off a surgery for a broken leg. 

Theres no way they were done with a backfield of Penny, Gainwell, and Scott. Not good enough. Penny is a lottery ticket. Nothing more.

PJ Walker is a guy I've mentioned for some time.  Would be more than happy with him here.  Big fan of his at Temple and think he's a solid  backup.

The major get that no one is talking about at safety would be Julian Love. He was a solid CB prospect who has been ultra productive at S for the Giants. Still only 24 years old. If he is cheaper than Gardner-Johnson just go get him now. Dont wait around for CGJ to try calling our bluff on twitter.

When you look at how many games he has managed to play over the past couple of years, Youd really have to hope it was just a camp body prove it deal. Which, it was. I was still hoping theyd keep Sanders in addition to Penny.

Penny is not a guy to rely on as the Sanders replacement.
