No Brissett for the Eagles. Still think Mariota is most likely.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

All these corners in this draft certainly 1 is going to be day 1 ready, we should get first crack

If Lane restructures, will we have room before June 1st for Kelce, Bradberry, Graham, the 3 cheap guys, and CJ?

Not sure, but I think technically if they need to, they can agree to terms and then officially sign the contract in June.

Logical release or not, I’m feeling much worse today than I did yesterday. Yesterday I was like we lost Hargrave, but we least we have the elite CB tandem back. Now today: nope.

If the Eagles keep CJGJ then since Slay essentially replace Bradberry, it’s the equivalent of still losing 3 of your top 4 free agents.

Howie has managed to work magic before but there’s not exactly top notch corners growing on trees. Will a rookie be starting next year? Or will Howie still add a veteran somewhere and work the rookie corner in slowly.

I don’t see the infatuation with Slay, at least what he showed latter half of this year. I don’t think the drop off is as as significant as some think from him to a talented rookie aside from experience. Having said that, I don’t see Bradberry as a CB1. Hoping we draft a CB at 10 and it’s a hit. It sucks but I’m not feeling any different today. I knew it was an inevitability when Bradberry was brought back.

No one is ever going to do that

He looks awful

Remains to be seen with Bradberry. Metrics wise he was better than Slay in some areas last year. The question is: was it the system, and him being comfortable or was it him covering lesser WRs. I tend to think they’re both probably about the same, Slay possible slightly better. But I still think Slay has one really good year left in him at least. In a SB or bust though year it kinda sucks to not have that stability though. A rookie CB could come in and play great. We saw it several times in recent years. But it’s no guarantee. Just gotta hope the Eagles pick the right one.

There are 3 I'd be comfortable starting on day 1: Witherspoon :flex:, Gonzalez, and Banks. Once you move down to Porter, Forbes, etc. I'm less confident.

Or pick 2 to be safe. But probably too much. Could always make a trade later.

in fairness Dak has a couple of those against us like 2017 the last game of the year and last game of 2021

True, though I think we likely lose the 21 season finale anyway if it were meaningful anyway.

At this point id welcome all 5, just depending where. Witherspoon/Gonzalez 7-10, Porter Jr & Banks 15-20, Forbes 30+

I could see a double trade back depending on who’s there at 10. Small trade back to like 13-15 and another small trade back from 30 to 35-40. Pick up some extra day 2 picks along with 4-7s.

Might end up starting there although I'm pretty sure they want to give Sam Howe a shot.  Commanders making some not so shabby moves.  They won't be world beaters but they will continue to be a tough out.

I'm good with Porter starting day one too.

Probably more ready than Banks.

Wish they’d hurry up and sign CJ

Porter is gonna get flagged...a lot, based on what I've watched of him. Gonna need some technique coaching to avoid seeing yellow often. That's my only real concern with him.

Eagles were not going to give close to that for a backup.

Nope. Too high.  And Washington probably would have been better off paying Heineke.

May be an image of 1 person, playing American football and text that says "FACKERS 国 BREAKING ..// JORDAN LOVE HAS BEEN TRADED TO THE 2040 JETS"

Knowing Washington they'll let Brissett and Howell compete for the #1 job.  Pencil them in for another 4th place finish.

Rivera has really pissed away some pretty good drafting during his time there.

Graham’s numbers updated. His cap hit went up to 10M. I think it was 8-9M before so not a bad increase.

So something like this now?

Sign Bobby Wagner

10 - Gonzalez
30 - Trade back 5-10 picks and move up in another round ...  Adebawore
2nd Round - Top available swing tackle (Freeland, Duncan, Bergeron)

Sign Bobby Wagner

10 - trade back 5-10 picks and pick Banks

30 - trade back 5-10 picks and pick Gibbs

With the added pick in the Mid 40s pick Forbes

With 62 pick Jack Campbell

Sorry HE

I’m dead lol
