These traditional blue chip RBs aren’t worth much IMO. Yes, Robinson will probably rush for 1400+ yards a couple times. He’ll have a bunch of double digit TD seasons.

But isn’t going to transform an offense. He’ll eat up a bunch plays, put up a bunch of total yards, but at the end of the day the passing game is what makes a difference in today’s NFL.

If I were forced to draft a RB in the first round this year, I honestly might take Gibbs over him. Is he a better RB than Robinson? No.

But I think he might actually make his offense better than Robinson will.

Without going back and looking I suspect most here hate it but that's pretty much the going rate and the Eagles were going to sign someone.  Maybe they could gotten a lesser guy for 7 but it's not a huge difference for someone already acclimated and a leader on your team
