We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Haven't seen any contract details yet.

Feels like being considered a top nfl draft prospect somehow helped out with that deal

Maybe but it's not a slam dunk case necessarily.  They would have to rely on witness testimony and potential video which may not be clear.  None of that testimony and video would necessarily place him as the driver.  I would imagine the deal is consistent with what they do for other defendants.

Can they do that? They didn't suspended Mixon at all who settled his case right before the draft.

Mixon was drafted in 2017 and the current policy was put in place in 2018

Especially if it’s his first major offense.  (His charges were actually misdemeanors)

Most states have divergent programs (with similar penalties) for first time  (non violent) offenders (depending on the circumstances, etc).

Do you have the list of NFL players suspended for college behavior?

For misdemeanors that happened before he's even drafted?

Given the risky nature of the behavior and that 2 other people were killed, I think the League might believe a suspension is the best way to keep him from doing something stupid again.

He also has a history

It's a speeding ticket not a misdemeanor, I think.

What happened to that PS olinemen who got charged the week of the SB?  Nothing, I think.

Sills was charged with a felony and the charges had just happened. That's different than misdemeanor charges that were resolved before the draft

He's still on the team, although on the exempt list so not around the team. His case isn't settled yet.

Florio is like Peter King. He has great access to information but he's a terrible journalist / analyst.

He often brings up things that are news and treats them as something everyone should already know.

Today it was this tidbit. CBS and FOX no longer have AFC and NFC packages, They all just have random football games now.

I have no idea how this will play out but it should be interesting. Do they draft games each week? Do they pick them before the season?

Yeah, not resolved - didn't know if the team distanced themselves from him (i.e., quietly cut him).

Reckless driving twice in less than a year I believe

Man, I am so glad that Jamaal Williams and his dirt cheap 4m a year deal did not go to Dallas. (Saints got him)

I have no idea what Detroit is doing paying more for Montgomery.

Suspect you're trolling, but no it wouldn't, you're expecting way too much.

We've lost some significant starters, both head coaches and all our vets are a year older.

If we don't make the play offs then i'd say its a failure, but not winning a superbowl? Get real.

Didn't you just criticize me the other day for "not liking any players" on the team? Now my expectations are too high? You get real.

If Hurts is as good as many believe, and we've brought back enough guys from last year, this team should be a strong favorite to win the NFC. If we get to the Super Bowl and lose, that's a failure. Unless you want to be like the 90s Bills teams. Or even the early 00's Eagles teams that couldn't win the NFCCG. And if we lose somewhere along the way to the Super Bowl, that's a failure.

It will still be an entertaining season and fun to follow, but anything short of a Super Bowl title is a disappointment. The window is open now, and if you don't expect to win it all with this team now, then when will you?

I would imagine before the season after the schedule is announced they'll have a system to pick. Logistics of crew travel are too much to do it week by week

You are young.  You will get more circumspect as you get older.

Reasonable people can agree to disagree reasonably.

I'm not that young. Team is built to win now and the NFC is weak. No Super Bowl win would be disappointing and a failure. I'll still enjoy all the highs and lows the season brings.

If you could take one Edge rusher in this years draft not named Tyree Wilson or Will Anderson who would you take at pick 10?

Howie doing Howie things..

I'm not Roger damn Godell.  I don't think any draftee has but I don't know of any that plead guilty to misdemeanors involving the death of 2 people since the personal conduct policy has been put in place.
