Spears without the injury history is a top 40 player for me. I think he might take a Jay Ajayi-like fall, as he's a one-contract player.

Spears is my guy this year. Absolutely love his game. Grab him in the 4th. I know they don’t have a 4th but they can get one.

Yeah, was all in on him until I saw he tore his ACL twice.

My prediction in this draft is that Howie trades up in round 2 for someone he covets using some of next years surplus of picks. 

I think Howie knows he sucks at drafting CB.  With 2 apparently elite CB right in the Eagles range, Howie doubles down on his 30 an 32 year old CBs.

Adebawore is another guy I want to steer clear of.  His tape just doesn't match his testing.   Kancy is a violent, explosive player and it shows on tape and in testing.

The 5 RB's I'm most interested in, that are all across different rounds:

Jahmyr Gibbs, Bama

Roschon Johnson, Texas

Evan Hull, Northwestern

Keaton Mitchell, Eastern Carolina

Eric Gray, Oklahoma

All 5 of these guys can catch. Mitchell might even fare better in his career playing in the slot. Gibbs is the prize here, he transforms the offense.

Trading down from 10 to 15 or 20 looks like a viable option at this point.

There is not some great pressing need for CB, the way many thought there would be.

Kancey looks like he could be faster Donald.  It seems like that would be good.  I haven't looked at a lot of different alternatives at 15 or 20, but at this point,  Kancey seems good.

I always like freakbeast players with versatility.  It doesn't really matter if they use the versatility.  Kancey is exactly the same height as Jalen Hurts.  6010.  He's about 50+ pounds heavier.  Slower in the 40 by .08,  faster in the 10 split.  1.58 v 1.60.  Doesn't really matter,  they're not going to have him carry the ball, there's none of that on his resume that I could see.

They let Juan Thornhill go to the Browns for 3 years $21 million. Don't think they would offer CJGJ more than that, and I think that's inline with what the Eagles have offered.

Donald was more productive in his time at Pitt.  He averaged 1.27 TFL and .57 sacks per game.  Kancey average 1.04 TFL and .48 Sacks.  I don't think Kancey necessarily has the same upside but he's an athlete that was productive in college.  I have no problem with him in the first round.

By the way,  Kancey was 1st team All American.   Additionally,  Donald had a great 3 cone, a great bench, and Kancey hasn't done those yet.  Just the run, and Kancey's was better.  Kancey's arm and hand are smaller.
