Unofficial poll. How many people would still take Jalen Carter at pick 10?

I’m fine either way, the reason I’m fine with going ahead with it is because we have that extra pick.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

So likely signing this guy with Rapp also set to visit.

Theyll end up with both Rams free agent safeties. interesting.

Could be two with a void, which is basically the same thing.

He already had voids through 2026. They could tack on one more in 2027 but it would be weird to phrase it as a three year extension. He probably just accidentally included this year.

Oh, I think you're very confused.

I substantiate my arguments with data, and you don't.

I'm fully aware that what I'm saying is innovative,  and I'm aware that many don't like innovative at all.  Doesn't bother me.

Innovative is the word of the day, and I must say, it's truly an innovative word. When I think of innovation, I think of something truly innovative, something that's never been done before. That's the beauty of innovation, it's all about coming up with new and innovative ideas that push the boundaries of what's possible. And let me tell you, there's nothing more innovative than being innovative. Being innovative means being willing to take risks, to try new things, and to think outside the box. So if you want to be innovative, you need to embrace innovation in all its innovative glory. In fact, the more innovative you are, the more innovative you'll become, and that's truly the most innovative thing of all.

Thanks Dr Seuss

So Howie spread Slays contract over 3 years now instead of 2 and added $19 million in incentives?

If he drops off a cliff, its no additional money they would have lost then if they post june 1st cut him, but now its spread out over more year to lessen the cap hit.

Howie’s just getting greedy now

One thing is for sure though, Howie needs to take a CB within the first 2 rounds no matter what. We can not depend on two 30+ year old CBs and often injured Maddox to make it throughout the year. CB needs youth and depth in a desperate way.

Also Bradberry and Slay are not known for their run support and tackling. Even if they bring back CGJ who also misses quite a few tackles.....thats an area of weakness from this secondary. I assumed we would let most of our defense walk and thought one area we could improve on was tackling but does not seem to be the case.

Honestly, pre draft, they need to pencil in Maddox at FS.

The cap doesn't exist. I will never care about how much "cap space" the Eagles have.

Could he be Epps’ replacement?

Is he a slot CB?

Greedy has really not been good.

I cant even say thats a depth signing. I wouldnt be comfortable with anything more than another camp body type deal.

I kind of assume he has to be converted to S as a last ditch effort at having a career, but his tackling is pretty darn bad

Or could they move Avonte to S?  But I think it's probably a vet min deal type of thing. Guy to check out

CJGJ will be safety with Blankenship.

Greedy Williams is not good. I'm guessing it's Greedy vs. Jobe in camp.

They cant feel comfortable with Blankenship being a full time starter. He came in a filled a role nicely last year but they shouldnt make the mistake of handing him the keys

I think Greedy is a guy they liked in draft that they'll check out to see how he looks in camp. Sometimes guys put it together in a new situation. More often they dont

This year was a nightmare. He allowed a perfect 158.3 QB rating.

Hes battled some injuries in his career.

Last year though, he allowed a 78.3 rating. Not horrible.

This has got to be a really cheap deal to see what kind of form he is in during camp. I suppose there is still upside there. But far from a sure bet.

You can absolute feel comfortable with Blankenship as a full tirm starter.  He started 4 games and had substantial tial playing time beyond that.

Id hate to see him take Jobe's spot. Id like to think he will compete with McPherson who cant seem to fight his way in to the picture.

This could be one of those things we're talking about and one of those guys including Williams doesn't even make it past a week in camp
