2,200 yards passing 15 TD's, 400 yds rushing and 4 TD's in 13 games last year. What exactly do you expect from a backup QB because you arent doing much better than Mariota.

In a time when starters get 40-50 million per. 5-8 Million isn't really that expensive.

I would like to know the true story about Mariota's end in Atlanta. There are seemingly 100 Eagles beat writers and none of them will find out.

And who honestly cares.....The Eagles are worth about 5 Billion as a franchise with annual revenue of almost 600 million.  They have way plenty money lol  I've given up caring about the salary cap, let Howie and his team play voodoo economics and manage it.  Just get me the best team possible that gives us a chance at a championship.

There isn’t much secrecy around it. He was pissed he got benched after struggling. He decided to have surgery the next day and left the team to hang out with his family.

His injury was freak. He never missed a game in college iirc, but he got hit in a specific way where he suffered nerve damage to a shoulder. Since it's in the upper half of his body, he still has a chance to keep his coverage skills. Not that this disputes your view of him playing inside, just referring to the injury part.

Couldn’t think of a more perfect backup for this team than Mariota on paper. Maybe Jacoby. Good signing though IMO.

Bad news for HE this morning.  I do agree, another dynamic TE would be great.  My hope is they take one higher in the draft with the stacked class.  Reality is they think they UDFA class of TE will be of a higher quality because of the amount of overall talent and they go taht direction.
