We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Seeing Jason and Travis Kelce cry together on their podcast talking about their Mom after the game is the best thing I've seen this week.

Both those guys have a ton of heart and passion for each other their fam, their teams and communities fans and football , it's refreshing to see and one can see how crushed Jason was with the loss.💜☹️

Lol there’s a great story about Arnold going to James Cameron complaining about the dialogue. JC basically told him to STFU and do it. He did and we got what we got

Yup.

Absolutely.

Some of these plays have no WRs turning their heads within 5 yards, so I think the hot-read is "Jalen, make a guy miss and make a play".

Yup been that way all year which isn't really fair to hurts as it asks him to do too much.

Would like to see some actual designed hot read routes instead just asking hurts to be superman.

ManuManu impressing with his mental gymnastics to try and blame Hurts for the Super Bowl.

Yeah yeah yeah but what are the cap implications of this?

49ers can keep a really strong roster and sign free agents if they keep the two QBs on rookie deals.  They're under the assumption Purdy can continue as starter, and if they're wrong then they have Trey Lance.  Carr isn't a significant upgrade over Purdy/Lance.

Lance is still a huge unknown.  Carr is definitely an upgrade over him.

Purdy had a nice run.  Alot of people harp on the Eagles having an easier schedule but majority of teams 49ers faced during their win streak had losing records.  Still think Carr would be an upgrade over Purdy as well.

Maybe Purdy and Lance can be good with some more experience but the 49ers window is right now.

Remember Carr gashed us last year.  Imagine if he was the 49er QB in place of Purdy.  They would have been in the SB instead of us.

If only...

A fair criticism but we invest more high picks on offense generally

True, but the hit rate is abysmal regardless of the number of picks used.

"Corndog” was the name the Chiefs gave to the motion double move they used to get two wide open TDs. It was cooked up just for the SB.

I thought it was an urban dictionary thing... I looked it up.   I don't recommend others follow suit.

It really depends on what kind of trade action we see.

With Howie’s propensity to wheel and deal combined with #10 and #30, there is a world where we come out of the draft with 12-15 picks and are able to saturate the roster with young prospects.

TEW you really need to stop confusing TorontoEagle.

I’m talking about Hurts’ EPA vs blitz. Minshew’s games are excluded. Sure missing Goedert hurt, but that seems like a big stretch to use his absence as a reason to be 31st vs the blitz with zone coverage behind it.

It tells me that Hurts couldn’t take off running because the second level kept eyes on him and we didn’t seem to have much in terms of hot reads. It was a discussion point all year.

We seem to always struggle with hot routes for some reason

But Carr has a market, so the price tag for him will be at least $35-40M on a long term deal.  Is Carr a $40M per year upgrade over what they had with Purdy?  That's 3-4 really good players they won't be able to afford, either extending their own guys or signing free agents.  They have Nick Bosa they need to extend this year; he's playing on his 5th year option in 2023 and will break the bank at DE.  Deebo's big-money extension will kick in for 2024.

You think we go from 6 picks (2 of those in round 7) to 12-15 picks? And I’m the confused one?

Stupid sexy hot routes

Yikes 31st vs. blitz with zone is really bad. I’m guessing teams around the league will take notice if it so hurts and the offense next year will have to be much better against it.

Team will exploit that going forward. Tampa laid down that blueprint last yr

Draft fail friend. You only made 6 picks. You should’ve traded to get ten more

Bc you need a qb to process fast and throw

not pull the ball down

So much fun to watch.

I think there's a pretty good chance the offensive line looks like Mailata-Dickerson-Kelce-Jurgens-Lane next season. I think Kelce will be back and they'll let Seumalo walk.
