Seriously, guys.

Could you all stop posting for a while? I'm still back on Page 361, just can"t catch up....

Thank you very much. :P

May sound outlandish but I wouldn’t be that mad at a much cheaper safety option in Mills if it means they can do some other work on the roster.

I'd love to get a back like Blount in the draft

Who is the GM of the board?

Keeping it simple one possibility is that HE is the GM.

Or LM is the GM.

I think a team that needs a QB in the next year or 2 can develop him. He can be 27 when he takes over a starting role, and that is just fine.

A team like us who doesnt need a starter right away... you can take him and hope to flip him eventually. But then hes even older by the time he is just getting a new start with a different team. He has more value to other teams now, on their bench being groomed for their job with their coaches, than he would if he was on our bench for 2 or 3 years before we trade him.

I think he is too talented to let get out of the 3rd round. Should go 2nd or 3rd.

He's talented but I don't know what team will take him with the idea of grooming him as a developmental player.  It's possible that the Vikings, Raiders or Saints draft him but beyond those I don't know where he would end up.

Celebrity gif. Steve Harvey yelling, "Aw, hell naw!" with his full face, brow furrowed and mouth wide, showing his full set of impeccable teeth.

I'd rather CGJ. We'll need replacements for both Bradberry and Slay in the next two years so having the S spot locked down is more important to me. Solidify that and we go into the draft without glaring immediate needs. Still need CB, DL, and OT moving forward but we'd at least have a buffer now with these next two drafts.

The problem will be if the dead money accumulates at a much faster rate than the rate of cap increase.

Year to year, that may not be a big deal. You can offset that to a degree by having a ton of draft picks who will be on cheaper deals, like we are doing between this draft and next draft. Tons of premium (top 3 rounds) picks. Should be a bunch of young, cheap talent and hopefully slow the need for being very active in free agency.

But year after year after year cant be allowed to happen. Because eventually even the future cap will run out.

(The "future cap” will likely continually increase). Especially with the amount of money the NFL is making now and projected to make in the future.  The cap could easily increase to 300 million within 5 years.  (Maybe more)

Minshew would have been our starting QB last year.

Upgrade from Covey as PR?

hmm....

Name the player. One stat line is Mills first/only year playing S for the eagles. The other is Epps, last season.

I always liked him.

There were a couple actually:

Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder Photo Print (24 x 30) - Walmart.com - Walmart.com

Mills is overrated by himself the most.  He's a much better safety than he is a CB.  He's only 29 and loved being an Eagle.   I'd have no problem bringing him in and letting him compete with Blankenship or at the very least playing the S3/slot position. I don't see why people are ready to crown Blankenship a starter.

Because Blankenship played well last year and that was as a rookie.  He should only improve heading into year two.
