We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

8 out of 10 Ditkas for drafting a LB in the 2nd round but only 5 out of 10 Howies.

One guy I would be really happy with if they waited a bit until the middle rounds (assuming they acquire some picks) is Iowa's Sam LaPorta.  Guy is a bulldozer after the catch.

I like La Porta a lot too.  If I had taken Jack Campbell instead of Musgrave I would have been looking to get La Porta.  That would have been an Iowa double dip.

I’d prefer to give another year to Calcaterra. I thought he looked decent last year in limited action. And I like Stoll as a blocking TE/6th lineman type. Considering our needs elsewhere and limited picks this year, I’d look to address TE next year.

Sure he showed something with one big catch but he retired once during college and spent the entire summer hurt.  Not banking on him to be a huge piece.  Not with the talent available this year.

If you ignore Random Regular you might save yourself 50 pages🤣

ha.   51 now.

And pages aren't determined by how many words are on them, but how many posts.  And my posts, with thousands of words, don't make more pages than the typical persons one liners.

Todd Pinkston as RBs coach just feels so wrong

LB is almost getting to be Bobby Wagner or bust. Might be there now.

Was going to say that as well

One of the reasons I'm so bullish on TE2 is because Dallas Goedert has missed 12 games over the last 3 years.  For as good as he is, he misses time.  The Eagles have to rely on their TE2 and he just can't be known as a blocking TE.

Gesicki would have given the Eagles an unreal 1-2 threat at TE and that wasn't going to happen.  The remaining TE FA class is Dalton Schutlz followed by lots of older veterans.  My guess is the rest of the NFL is waiting for the draft.

Might have interest in Irv Smith Jr. who's been a let down so far in his career but has talent and is still only 25.  Otherwise, the TE pool, while deep is very JAGGY.

I think drafting a TE before a RB might make more sense, especially if Gibbs isn't available.

I think Calcaterra is going to surprise you this coming season.

Coaching RBs to avoid contact is probably better than coaching receivers to short arm balls.

I don’t think any team should consider their TE 2 a "huge” piece. Especially when we have two WRs as good as we do

Wish his base salary was slower. It's too high to trade for.

Smart. Looks like its a great time to be a free agent safety.

He has a huge cap hit. Pretty sure it's like Slay where they told him they weren't going to pay it. He's probably just trying to get them to do it sooner rather than later since they can't find common ground.  Assuming this is true at all

Blankenship is a better safety than Mills.

Not sure how you can say that based off a few games . Mills won a ring and has miles more experience
