Pre-draft Mariota fits the offense...the Mariota of today absolutely does not IMO.  He's got the nod on MInshew in athleticism, but from arm strength, accuracy, to brain he does not.

Interesting to hear that Mariota is now Chad Pennington. Not sure about the acquisition, but that right there is a massive bruh.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Surprised Seumalo is still out there.  The number of teams out there with poor offensive lines you'd think one would be interested in adding a starter from the best offensive line in the league.

If Nolan Smith gets past the falcons, take him. Next Micah Parsons

He would be tempting.

does anyone know which one is Mills, and which one is irreplaceable Epps?

Yes. Epps is the one that got 73.1 % of passes his way completed on him. I knew this because I've been consistently using the same site to show why people are underrating Ship, though again, I get it, sample size and all.

I have one for you too, and anyone else who wants to participate.

Top one? Jalen Mills. Bottom one?

Spoiler

CJ Gardner-Johnson

I do think the second is better, but I just think there's a lot of hypocrisy going on about this. Maaan.

If he somehow finds his way back to us I will have no words honestly. Very unlikely we need him but I will still have no words.

Comparisons at both EDGE and Rush LB check-out. I see a lot of Reddick in Nolan Smith's game.

This might be overly optimistic, but I think Christian Elliss could be a player.

Ellis ran a 4.48 40, 4.29 40 yard shuttle and 10 foot broad at 6'3, 233. For reference, his brother Kaden just got a nice contract from the Falcons.

Christian Ellis is more than athletic/big enough to our weakside LB.

When Elliss played in mop up duty last year, I thought he looked better than Bradley.  While we tend to reference traditional 4/3 terms for the Eagles LB (MIKE, WIL, SAM) the reality is the Eagles played a lot of 5/2 (with some 4i, some traditional 4/3, some 3/3/5 and even some Wide 9 mixed in) where Reddick was more of a 3/4 rush OLB than a SAM and Edwards and White played more off line ILB roles than MIKE and WIL.  When Dean and Elliss were in mop up duty, they were mainly playing ILB in a nickel package behind a 3 or four man front where Patrick Johnson wasn’t really playing a rush OLB or SAM but rather more of a traditional 4/3 DE.   It remains to be seen how the D will change under Desai.  Heck they are still shy at least one defensive coach.  One thing to note is that with the LBs they have at this time, they have some good speed.  Dean may be the slowest of the ILBs and Patrick Johnson the slowest of the OLBs.  They would be the fastest ILB or OLB on a LT of teams.  Imagine a OLB/SAM being "slow” with a 4.66 forty and 6.96 3 cone.  (Rumors were Dean ran a 4.74 forty but his sideline to sideline speed at Georgia makes me doubt he is that slow.  When I was ****ing about his STs instincts on taking himself out of the play and lane discipline earlier last season, I was noting he tended to be one of the first downfield. I would suspect Dean is a 4.5-4.6 speed guy with a sub 7 three cone.)

He has great character too

If I had to put money down, I'd bet Nolan Smith is our pick at 10. He fits every athletic threshold except for size.

The biggest question is why didn't he produce more in college. If he was more productive, he'd be going ahead of Will Anderson.

Thing I like about Smith is his bend.  Supposedly ran a 4.15 shuttle out of IMG!  Imagine if that is true, his 3 cone might be in the 6.7s. Trent Cole was 235 out of Cincinnati and Patrick Johnson was 240 out of Tulane.  Eagles list Johnson at 248 and Trent was 265 when he left the Eagles.  Lot to like out of Smith. That said, numbers he put up at Combine aren’t dissimilar to Kyron’s pro day.

A 4.29 shuttle lands a yellow for LB on RAS?  Same with a 10 broad. Seems a bit unrealistic.

Morrow or Deion Jones. I might prefer Jones. I think he was hurt last year but I dont think its reall been an issue through his career so far.

Jones is interesting. Has played well just not recently. Still young. They need to take a shot on somebody. Can’t even pretend to pencil in starters now

I always liked Jones. Suffered a shoulder injury two years ago and didn't bounce back too well. He's very talented however and still young. I'd definitely sign him.

Michah is an absolute athletic freak. But I believe a big part of what makes Parsons so unbelievable is the willingness of his defensive coordinator to unleash him and use him aggressively.

Smith matches physically a lot what Michah can do, but will we scheme him and use him in the same way Parsons is used?

Keion White clocked in at an unofficial time of 4.65, which would’ve been the FASTEST time of any player over 283 pounds at the NFL Combine this year.

White weighed in at 6’5” 285 pounds

impressive , he is someone I think goes much earlier than expected

Keion White is 24. He's still raw as a pass-rusher. No thanks.

Ramierez is another who killed his proday , I like him in a 34

So why are the Buccaneers moving up nine spots and giving us their best player on defense?

Don't see that being a realistic trade for the buccaneers.

On PFF if they don't give a trade a grade, I believe it indicates that the user forced the trade. I could be wrong

That swap of 7th rounders really sold the Bucs huh

What happened to Jordan Battle? IIRC he was projected as a 1st rounder last year before he decided to go back for his senior year.
