Clearly CJGJ misread the market and the clippings didn’t help.  My bet is Howie has a market value offer on the table.  Probably in the range of what Epps got.  Fits the play level from CJGJ.  Question is whether my team left offers more.

Suspect that Seumalo’s durability plus the fact he plays next to Johnson and Kelce not helping his market.  Wouldn’t be surprised if he is back on a team friendly deal but he has to realize being a starter isn’t guaranteed.

Why would he do that?

be better off waiting. Surprised his versatility didnt net him a good offer

I wonder what’s going on with Robert Quinns market?

Played well under Dessai I wouldn’t be shocked if they kicked the tires again

Did Leonard Floyd play for Dessai too? Way better signing if he is cheap sitting on the market this long.

Byard is WAY better than CJGJ. But he’s gonna cost significantly more.

He's better but he's also gonna be 30 before the season starts. Ironically he's from Philly

Robert Quinn went back to his home planet

Byard is turning 30. I wonder what he can get on the open market.

Under 1,000 hours! Down to 962.

Byard or CJ and Wagner. No reason this couldn't happen.

Obviously it’s annoying to some. Why are you pressing on something so obvious?

Signing a QB becuase of QB sneaks is silly when you have former QB Lane Johnson who is much larger and can sneak for you.

Playing QB is much much more dangerous than playing OT,  Lane would get hurt.   Is the argument.

When Elliss played in mop up duty last year, I thought he looked better than Bradley.  While we tend to reference traditional 4/3 terms for the Eagles LB (MIKE, WIL, SAM) the reality is the Eagles played a lot of 5/2 (with some 4i, some traditional 4/3, some 3/3/5 and even some Wide 9 mixed in) where Reddick was more of a 3/4 rush OLB than a SAM and Edwards and White played more off line ILB roles than MIKE and WIL.  When Dean and Elliss were in mop up duty, they were mainly playing ILB in a nickel package behind a 3 or four man front where Patrick Johnson wasn’t really playing a rush OLB or SAM but rather more of a traditional 4/3 DE.   It remains to be seen how the D will change under Desai.  Heck they are still shy at least one defensive coach.  One thing to note is that with the LBs they have at this time, they have some good speed.  Dean may be the slowest of the ILBs and Patrick Johnson the slowest of the OLBs.  They would be the fastest ILB or OLB on a LT of teams.  Imagine a OLB/SAM being "slow” with a 4.66 forty and 6.96 3 cone.  (Rumors were Dean ran a 4.74 forty but his sideline to sideline speed at Georgia makes me doubt he is that slow.  When I was ****ing about his STs instincts on taking himself out of the play and lane discipline earlier last season, I was noting he tended to be one of the first downfield. I would suspect Dean is a 4.5-4.6 speed guy with a sub 7 three cone.)

Dean ran 4.74 in high school.   There wasn't a newer 40 time.  Some ignored the fact that Dean's 40 was in high school and the wrong impression was left that Dean was slow.

Thing I like about Smith is his bend.  Supposedly ran a 4.15 shuttle out of IMG!  Imagine if that is true, his 3 cone might be in the 6.7s. Trent Cole was 235 out of Cincinnati and Patrick Johnson was 240 out of Tulane.  Eagles list Johnson at 248 and Trent was 265 when he left the Eagles.  Lot to like out of Smith. That said, numbers he put up at Combine aren’t dissimilar to Kyron’s pro day.

nolan smith and the rest of the players should be running the 20 shuttles and their 3 cones and everything else.

Keion White clocked in at an unofficial time of 4.65, which would’ve been the FASTEST time of any player over 283 pounds at the NFL Combine this year.

White weighed in at 6’5” 285 pounds

impressive , he is someone I think goes much earlier than expected

High School: Rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports out of Garner H.S. … Was a two-way starter in high school at tight end and defensive end … Finished with 20 catches for 247 yards and four touchdowns as a senior … Named first-team all-Greater Neuse River Conference … Four-time academic all-conference honoree … Coached by Thurman Leach.

Jake Witt is a OT I take a flier on , tested really well , not shocked seeings as he has played hoops and TE position

draftscout.com has him as 999, unranked.   I like the versatile freakbeast aspect.

Took awhile to announce. He must have gotten a little too greedy during negotiations.

😀

Seriously, I wonder if it took that long to get him in for a physical. Mariota Isn’t on the website yet.  Imagine he gets an extensive physical before it is fully official.

My boss would have me do the technical interviews for those highly skilled technical positions in our organization.  Part of it was to see who twisted based on which way they thought I was leaning.  The best answer I could get for some questions was an honest "I don’t know but I would do this to find out the answer.”  I would have scored the poster that said he knew three major cities in Spain but couldn’t say which one was the capital.

yes. How can we forget CJ Gaddis

What is your ideal 1st round, excluding trades. Gotta stay and pick at 10 and 30. Within reason. Not Will Anderson at 10 and Christian Gonzalez at 30.

Mine is Devon Witherspoon at 10 and Kancey at 30.
