Hurts has a much better shot at winning a SB than Allen.

Aside from playing for a legit cursed franchise and in a conference that has a gauntlet of young elite QBs, Allen simply can't get out of his own way.

A year ago I would’ve laughed at people comparing Hurts to Allen. Now we can legitimately say he has a chance to be better than him. Or at least more productive. What a wild 180 moon shot from Hurts.

Allen was a 107.2 rated passer in year 3 along with 8 rushing TDs. He took a step back as a passer in 2021 but then he had those insane playoff games.

It goes fast. He was just a top 10 dude last year with all that hero ball and his elbow injury. He ended with 3 picks and 3 fumbles in 2 playoff game

 

Hurts stock is higher than Allen right now, Allen could bounce back because he has incredible talent, or Diggs could go full TO in week 5.

If Wagner made it known he would play for 3 million a year there would probably be 15 teams trying to sign him.

He's just at that phase where he is no longer a 10+ a year guy but I'm not sure he knows that yet. He may think he's an 8 a year guy and he may be alone at that price too.

Yeah I’m not sure he’s going to get 8 a year but he may get 4 or 5.

I felt the same, never really warmed to him. Seemed invisible on the field and off it. Never seemed to do interviews or be in any of the social media stuff

People are so unrealistic. It is extremely difficult to win a Super Bowl let alone multiple Super Bowls. Some of the best QBs ever havent won more then 1 and I dont think either of the QBs above are at that level. It takes a team and once Jalen gets that ridiculous contract the win has begun to close quickly. 

Issac IMO was a better version of Big V. Could play everywhere, but was never was great anywhere. Combine that with his age and injury history, then it was an easy decision.

Wagner is not taking that low budget deal that will fit in our cap. He has his SB, he wants money along with a team that has SB chances. Yes we have the SB goal but we dont have the cap. Lets not forget we are going to need roughly 6-10 mill for rookie contracts.

Our comp picks for next year are going to shite!  LOL I thought Bradberry would have gotten us a 3rd....but we kept him (happy about that)....

Right now we should get a 3rd for Hargrave, 5th for Dillard and any one of White, Edwards, Sanders, etc are 6th's.  Not sure what Isaac will qualify at, hopefully a 5th.   So I think where I saw us getting like 2 3rd's and 2 4th's are now at a 3rd, maybe 2 5th's and one 6th.

I would have been fine losing Bradberry or Slay (no comp picks). Lots of money invested in older corners. Makes me a bit nervous.
