We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

There’s still a possibility to re-sign him next offseason, which I wouldn’t be against, depending on our cap situation. But we’ll have Jalen/Devonta/Dickerson extensions looming

But safety is back to being a major concern

A bummer. Will hurt us for sure in 2023. Probably the right move long term. All the smart teams also passed on him...

Howie couldn't match that? The hell?

Dude wtf? How the hell did we not bring him back for that much? Only thing I can think of is that he didn’t want to come back here.

Safety is an absolute black hole heading into the draft unless we get someone like Byard. I know Howie probably has a plan B but this is pretty shocking.

Yeah, all those reports about the Eagles working hard to keep him seem like BS from his agent.

Also, what I interpreted from this. Cause I’m guessing the Eagles probably could’ve match that and the cap number lower so they could afford it. And they didn’t do it. I have a feeling the Eagles weren’t as high on hishis films as he was.I forget the podcast I was listening to, but they said they went through his tape and it wasn’t as good as his numbers would indicate. I also wonder if they think John Johnson could get back to the level he played out with the Rams, which would be at a higher level than what they think CJGJ played at .

We might not have topped that offer…

😐🥴😖🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮

There's just no way around it if the Eagles didn't match that, they didn't think that highly of him. We'll see whether or not they were correct in that evaluation or not.

Hopefully they pursue Byard then.

If Detroit hits on their draft picks they’ll be a major player in NFC this year

I guess i should’ve said 30

It’s just crazy to think especially since he was an established player on the Patriots 6 years ago.

It’s obvious the interceptions overshadowed his shortcomings at safety. The hope was that he’d improve the more he played the position. I think he would work best in a creative scheme that allows him to be a hybrid nickel-safety.

I also have a feeling that once he didn’t get the offe he thought the Eagles should’ve given him. He decided he wasn’t coming back to Philadelphia. I could see him being the type of player that would hold it against the Eagles for being right on what his market was then sign that contract with the lions seven of the eagles offered him something close

Wow. F CJGJ then. Enjoy Detroit a-hole.

I want the past two weeks of refreshing his Twitter and Instagram back.

Kidding, but this whole charade was a giant waste of time all around and we missed on basically every safety out there than could make an immediate impact.

F CJGJ at this point.

How long before we see Rodney McLeod back.

Coaching and QB will stunt their ceiling

The league obviously doesn’t have the same opinion of CJGJ that Eagles fans do. The Birds could have matched that all day. They weren’t interested. Second team to not really care much about retaining him. Locker room stuff?

The fact that’s all he got tells me he overplayed his value on the market. And he didn’t strike when the iron was hot on the first couple days of FA when he probably could’ve gotten at least a little more than that for a multiyear deal.

Yup there was talk that he wanted a contract that would make him the highest paid safety in the league then he scoffs at the eagles offer and signs a year year prove it deal for 8 mil???

What a clown! If he doesn't want to be here  Good riddance at least don't have to hear about all his drams anymore, he definitely over valued himself, good luck to him, would have liked to have kept him if he wanted to be here but it is what it is.

Now THAT's bad news for CJGJ.

Thinking he takes a 1 year, $8-$9M deal with incentives.

Boom. I’m more of an insider than Caplan.

Disagree about coaching, agree about QB.

We're going to get Adrian Amos for the vet min as a plug in.
