"If the Eagles want to get more aggressive on D they could look at Vance Joseph" --Wow what a story and great idea -- and left out "and his defenses have been pretty mediocre on results" Wow -- what a bad idea and non story. I hope the Eagles do an extensive search. I really wanted Fangio. The Eagles need a DC who can go toe to toe with the elite offensive minds. You're going to need a DC who can scheme a defense to stifle the NFL's best QBs to win a SB because they all exist in the AFC.

They should look at Lovie Smith.  He actually had the Texans playing hard all year and hes been around the block

Defenses really overreacted to not allowing the big play so much that those deep 20 yard in/daggers have become free game for offenses. I want a DC who will challenge offenses at least a little. Don't overcomplicate things, try to take away their best players/plays, and put your players in a decent position to succeed. Don't be afraid to be aggressive against good offenses because sacks/turnovers are the name of the game, especially when you have a good offense. Get us the ball back.

Last I read, Fangio was 0-6 vs Mahomes.

Nobody is holding Mahomes and KC to under 20.  You have to keep them under 30 if you want a chance at beating them.

So Aiyuk and Deebo were kinda right in that the Eagles defense can be exposed.

Problem is they left out 1 key thing you need to expose them......a good-great QB.  Which I don't think Purdy at this time is that.

It can easily be done with several trade downs from 10 and 30. You can turn #10 into 3 top 100 picks with just one trade down.
