Ok. Maybe not

Give me some Nolan Smith, Calijah Kancey, Sydney Brown, Jack Campbell, and Riley Moss in this draft.

That would overhaul the defense immediately. It could happen with a few RD1 trade downs.

And my nips would be rock solid.

Here you go.

Why is Reuben Frank such a **** on twitter? He opens things up for questions or allows followers to post questions and then he retweets with some 12 year old girl comeback.

Because he is a total assclown?

or what this a trick question?

What has Ellis shown that he's a nasty player on defense that would bring that presence?  Genuinely curious because I haven't seen it.  If he can, that's great but where did you get this idea?

The reality with Elliss is that we really only have 1/3 of a year on the active roster.  Coming out of a second tier school like Idaho his first 2/3 of the season was on the Practice Squad.  So we as fans haven’t "seen” anything other than Special Teams snaps.  However, the coaches don’t have that limitation.  I’m personally going to bide my time and see how things work out.  Elliss’ brother Kaden worked out very well for the Saints at LB.

Yes. Yes it does

No one has seen it, because the guy hasn't played in the NFL. It's all projections from a guy who wasn't even drafted. Pretty silly to pencil that guy in as anything more than the last linebacker on the depth chart. I don't know how anyone can think we can just trot out new starters in Williams, Davis, Ellis, Dean, Blanky.

"Pencilling in” is a useless activity.  It is all imaginary.  Instead of getting out a pencil, maybe it would be smarter to get out some patience … and confidence that the FO and coaches know what they are doing.

Byard would require a new contract, right?  Do you think they pay him big money?

He would need a new contract. He's very good and will get, guessing somewhere around 10 mil per?

What is Taylor Rapp’s value?

Mind boggling. Is CJGJ a bad locker room guy or something?

If he was a bad locker room guy, would they have offered him a contract in the first place? This seems more like his agent really misread the market. Then by the time they realized their mistake, the Eagles had spent their money on other players.

You can't view Ellis as anything more than a back up/special teams player. He is undrafted and now on his second team. It's foolhardy to think anything more.

Not much mention of this guy here

While you make a good point I think the rest of the league having zero interest and him having to sign for chump change is very telling.

Foolhardy?  Foolhardy to trust the judgment of football professionals over our amateur opinions?  If that is the case then color me foolhardy.

You see him lay a hit on Deebo Samuel in the backfield forcing a fumble and then recovering it?

Did fine one on one vs Henry in the open field too.

Stupid statement.  This agent is a moron.   $17m guaranteed over 3 years?  $17m > $8m.  This is a hard game and guys get hurt.  Guaranteed money is better my man.  If he gets hurt this year, blows out his knee or whatever, his agent just cost him millions of dollars.

I think the thing missing from a lot of people is he felt slighted. It’s why i said last night CJGJ is the type of guy that would hold grudges and slights to the point he’d leave to prove a point. There’s a reason the saints were willing to nnot pay him and trade him even though he was productive and 24.

He's undrafted for a reason and obviously hasn't shown much to get on the field even as a back up player. I'm not saying he should get cut. But there shouldn't be any outlandish expectations like that has been tossed around

I understood that as 17+ in year 3.  Not 17 guaranteed.

The agent is implying it was not guaranteed and a backloaded deal.
