People here may have turned on him, but I think Howie is going to consider Jalen Carter until the final buzzer.

I do think it’ll be DL or CB. Howie has stressed the Eagles will draft long term in mind and CB is probably their biggest long term need considering the age and lack of depth in the group.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

With Okudah, Sutton, and Moseley...would seem odd to go CB when they have a weaker front 7.

Detroit taking him would be overkill.

I forget who but someone was saying on their podcast his interviews weren't great at the combine. He was too soft spoken and didn't really have a presence about him.

Forgot they made some moves at CB in free agency, fair point.

interesting about his interviews though

We just got greedy

Me 3 months ago would not believe I’m saying this now, but I really don’t want Jalen Carter. He screams draft bust to me

I don't watch college ball but someone posted some comparisons and it seemed like Kancey and some other prospect had better stats

What typically happens after the combine is once that fades from memory, GMs revert back to the tape and I think when Howie goes back to the tape he’s going to be intrigued again(if he even ever fell out of love with him in the first place). And Howie will have a decision to make if he’s there at 10.

I don't think Gibbs would get past DAL at #26.  Zeke is gone and Pollard is coming off a broken leg.

Think they're going for Bijan which should allow Jahmyr to fall to us. However, it's doubtful Howie takes him. He might try to trade down even.

They'd have to trade up quite a ways; Robinson could be a likely target for any of the teams sitting 17-23, if not the Titans at #11 if Henry is being shopped.

He also had a combined 5 INT's in the three seasons prior when he wasn't playing with two all-pro corners and a historic pass rush. There is also a lot more to playing the Safety position than just getting INT's and while CJ would throw the occasional big hit he was not a very consistent tackler and that is probably putting it mildly. I would prefer CJ to any of the safeties I mentioned but let's not act like he is leaps and bounds better than a Johnson or Rapp and that we just let a prime Brian Dawkins walk out the door.

Yup his PFF grade was basically the same as Mills was at FS his last year as an eagle, which was 66...

Not bad not great not worth 8 mil a year

Rather just have mills back for a lot less.

Now PFF isn't the end all be all but it gives a good comparison.

Don't be shocked if Sermon gets a chance to be the recipient of the bulk of those carries.

If we have 365 attempts, and we assume Penny gets hurt in camp, We would triple Gainwell’s workload from last year and still have over 200 rushing attempts left.

I like Gainwell and Scott, but I’m not pinning my season on Gainwell taking 200 rushes and Sermon getting close to 100.

On top of that, this is an excellent class of RBs. There are going to end up being a lot of good starters to come out of this class.

He's making them money but there's been a lot of problems and controversy during his tenure

And hes done an excellent job sweeping them under the rug

And the majority of them you could have picked off. I'm not saying he's a scrub, but he wasn't amazing in coverage, had a ton of missed tackles, and gave up TD's. He's good, not great. And I don't think looking at INT's as the sole measuring stick for a S is prudent.

He really got better as the year went on though and playing his best ball by the Super Bowl. I just don't see Mills, Rapp or Johnson as a viable replicant. I'd just go Blankenship over Mills. I don't even want to think about him in green again. I'd take Johnson or Rapp as the Epps replacement but they need another safety whether in the first couple rounds or trade unless the Titans safety comes free.

Big Lamar Jackson news!!

Maybe I wasn’t clear. He will get a chance…to compete. I think they like him more than we know. Not saying I agree with it. I have like 4-5 RBs I’d be all in for this year, with Gibbs being #1.

He digs the hole and buries the bodies for them. He's employed as long as he wants but pretty much whatever he wants to get paid

How funny it would ir be if the Ravens had him in for a visit?

I liked CJ and wanted him back, but let's be perfectly honest. If he was just a dude and didn't have the big personality and "swag" we wouldn't think nearly as high of him as we did. The league can be wrong but when the rest of the league was only willing to give him a one year deal for 6.5 million with incentives to possibly push it to 8 million that is pretty telling.

Agholor can still be a good slot receiver in the right offense. I would take him over Quez in a heartbeat.

Is anyone sure that Detroit is playing CJGJ at safety?

Yeah instead of having Quez drop balls in big moments we can have Agholor drop balls in big moments.  Please, never have Agholor on this team again.

Big loss for Dallas

That’s a nice pickup for Houston
