What was Howie supposed to do, hold a gun to CJ's head and make him take their offer. Or was he supposed to be gamble and wait on him taking it and in the process lose Bradberry and potentially CJ as well. He didn't luck into Bradberry, he quite smartly moved onto plan B when CJ was still delusional enough to think he was getting close to Jessie Bates money.

A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush. It doesn't mean I'm happy CJ is gone and that S isn't now a big time need but you are pissed off at the wrong person for him not coming back. Blame him and his stupid management team for overplaying their hand and completely misreading his market.

The safety, corner and TE market really bottomed out this year.

Just saw him when I picked up my daughter at daycare. He’s lost a lot of weight. Maybe he’s converting to LB?

I get not valuing safety much, but it's wild how cheap they are at that position. We'll see what else they do.
