Safety is gonna come down to the draft. If it's there at 30 or in the 2nd/3rd round, great, they'll try and make it happen. Otherwise, we'll be looking at Evans and Blankenship. I don't see Byard happening. Maybe they can afford another FA safety, too.

The Eagles didn’t get CJ until the summer. It’s March. Roster isn’t close to finished.

Sure. This is true. And it is fun. But I think it’s a little premature to assume a possible camp body like Evans will have a huge role on the team.

Yeah, no where did I say he isn't better than Quez.  Not a huge bar to leap.  Unfortunately for Agholor is that he shares the same fatal flaw as Quez in that you can't depend on him at all and he is extremely prone to make a huge drop in a huge moment.  Why the hell anyone would want him back here as some sort of solution to Quez shitting the bed in big moments blows my mind.  Agholor doesn't solve the biggest issue that Quez presents because he has the same biggest issue.  

We should hopefully get a combined 6 games between Penny and Evans

I don't think it's the player himself that people are concerned about as much as it is the Eagles going with a "throw a bunch of super cheap guys at the wall and hope a couple of them stick" approach at safety... which they've done in the past and hasn't particularly worked out well. Hopefully that isn't the case.

Just get a sense of Howie sort of panicked when he felt the need to resign these older guys like Cox and Slay. Hes kind of digging himself a deeper hole for years to come now. His fear of drafting defensive players other than Dline high in the draft is coming back to bite him.

For competition and a lottery ticket Evans is fine.  As a primary plan to start no.  But I don't think that's what this is

My Brothers wifes uncle knows a guy who said his sister has had lap dances with this old man that knows Howie and Howie said they did offer the same contract but CJ said he felt disrespected that they signed Cox so hes out.
