Of all the players and coaches we've lost this offseason, the only two I really wish we still had are Shane Steichen and CJGJ. The rest, given their contracts or ineptitude (*coughs* we're gonna f'n gut these guys! cough*), I'm fine with moving on from.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

If the plan takes a long time to come to fruition, then it does. But I hope that plan consists of actual players they covet and project to be good safeties and not "let's sign 3 cheap guys who haven't done much and hope one of them sticks" because I don't consider that a plan.

Its safe to say the safety situation is fluid.

That’s just the swelling around Evans Achilles

If I was watching this tape looking forward to the 2023 draft, he'd be one of my favorite players.  Too bad injuries have killed his career and it's more likely he doesn't even make the team.  Maybe the football Gods can be kind to us for once and let Rashaad Penny be healthy and let Justin Evans be a healthy version of his young self.

Sorry for the ESP tweet, I just want the world to dunk on Giglio for this attempt

A week ago I wanted to bring back CJ and buy his jersey. A week later I may hate the kid.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing the lions in the super bowl, they've been such a miserable franchise for so long, their roster should be pretty solid next year but takes a lot more than a good roster on paper to get to the Dance.

The amount of 1-year deals is crazy.

Can’t ever think of hoping another NFC team makes it.

New norm. Too many teams have gotten burned with longterm contracts and guaranteed money.

What's he supposed to say?

Knew we were going to lose Shane once we hit the playoffs. Just praying that Johnson can step up

If that doesn’t underscore how RBs are chewed up and spit out…

I think #30 is a perfect spot to draft a RB and run him into the ground for the next 5 years

It is very dumb

And when he wants a new contract after 3?

That's the thing. I'm not pushing for a RB but people tend to way overrate a possible window beyond 5 years for a pick.  If I was guaranteed to get a top explosive player for 5 years and only 5 years right now I'd take that in a heartbeat. Most guys don't make it past 5 years anyway.  Similar with these 1-yr deals. People obsess with the players age like most of them aren't gone after a year.  Just give me the guy who will produce the most in the next year. Age matters less

I’d be perfectly fine with Bijan or Gibbs at 30

Even at 30, he’d need to start as a rookie and would need to be elite.

I realize that many would say "the average #30 pick gives you less than 4 years as a good starter.”  But it’s also really, really easy to pick up a serviceable veteran rb and strengthen them with a rotation of diversely skilled backs for nothing.  So even #30 needs to be a really special talent.

The Cowboys are gonna break @bpac55’s heart.

A Kamara type guy has a huge impact. That said I in no way think the Eagles will take a RB in round 1 so this is all for argument's sake

Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller were talking today about Wentz for the Cardinals until Kyler Murray returns.  I’m not sure who else is even available to them anymore at this point.
