A Kamara type guy has a huge impact. That said I in no way think the Eagles will take a RB in round 1 so this is all for argument's sake

That’s the only type that would intrigue me at 30.  I don’t have any interest in someone hyped as a Barkley/AP generational prospect.  The days of those do it all workhorses are gone.

Westbrook/Reggie Bush/Kamara….now we’re getting warmer.

Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller were talking today about Wentz for the Cardinals until Kyler Murray returns.  I’m not sure who else is even available to them anymore at this point.

Basically Wentz or Bridgewater. After that, sheesh.

Funny thing is Pascal does not like Wentz.

Marshall Faulk is the prototype, and Gibbs is basically a clone of him from a measurables perspective.

I think the importance of taking the hard runs away from Hurts is very real.  He runs the ball at a very high frequency and some of the contact will take its toll.

Bringing Rashaad Penny in is a good start, but I think a RB prospect like Kendre Miller could pay serious dividends

People don’t take into account how a reliable bell cow RB could help limit hits on Jalen. The more RBs carry the ball instead of him the longer he will last. If we got someone at 30 who would be a guaranteed slam dunk like Bijan, you take it over an experimental swing tackle IMO. We could legitimately hand him the ball 25 times a game.

And half of that fan base will keep calling him Jahari Evans

I’m surprised no one referred to him as Mike or heath

They should get Bridgewater before someone snatches him up for a backup role

Remember when i said the cardinals are gonna be the worst team in the league next year…

The Cowboys are gonna break @bpac55’s heart.

LOL, yup. I still have them taking Darnell Washington in the 1st.  Especially now that Schultz is gone.

Can’t ever think of hoping another NFC team makes it.

Agree, I don't hope they make it but if they did I wouldnt be super upset unless they knocked out the birds

Watching the lions beat say the cowboys in the playoffs would be great!

Can't be based on performance, he was a stud and exceeded expectations. Wasn't the best in run support, but good enough, and far better than Bradberry who we chose to keep. This one just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Ummmm. He's a safety. Run support is kind of his job. It's kind of not part of Bradberry's all that much. C'mon man. Also he was not a stud, look at his metrics for basically everything except interceptions from the S position.

Slot corner is a different story, he's one of the best in the league.

And Tyreek Hill said Tua was better than Mahomes.  Guys say this all the time.

I also bet half the blog knows more about the Lions roster than CJGJ.

"Out of 23 snaps played, Evans spent 26% of those at corner, 4% at slot, 48% at split-safety, and dropped back into single-high coverage for the remaining 22%.”

The above was his snap breakdown in a game against Houston. I can see why the Eagles would be interested in him as a depth piece.

Wonder if the re-signing of Bradberry and Slay completely rule out CB at 10? Either way, I’ve always thought they were going DL with the slight chance of them going WR.

For competition and a lottery ticket Evans is fine.  As a primary plan to start no.  But I don't think that's what this is

Yep. If he's competing with Wallace for the 4th safety spot, fine. Anything beyond that and yuck. Thankfully it appears he was brought in to compete for a depth spot. The optics of it are just off with CJ signing in Detroit last night.

Just cuz'.  Man, I loved those guys and thought for sure they would get it done.  Of course, Dawk is my favorite but Westy wasn't far behind

IMO No.  The Eagles use free agency to fill holes and the draft for the future.  Having Cox and Hargrave at DT didn’t stop them from drafting Jordan Davis (and trade up to do so).  If Murphy and Tyree Wilson are off the board, it becomes likely that Gonzalez or Witherspoon can be BPA at #10.

I have my doubts they choose CB over OL in that spot, but I wouldn’t completely rule it out

I don’t necessarily think they always go BPA. If that were the case I’m sure they go Parsons over Smith a couple years ago. Or like 30 guys over Reagor. Howie and co definitely have positional tendencies in round 1.

Also DTs rotate while Outside CBs don’t. Now if Gonzalez or Witherspoon gets drafted, my guess would be that Slay gets dealt or cut unless his contract says otherwise. And if his contract says otherwise then they aren’t going CB at 10.

My guess as the most likely position they draft at 10.

1. DE

2. DT

3. WR

4. OT

5. S or CB

The Cards are in the tank from week 1, I’m not even sure if they’ll play Murray late in the season a la Carr.

Agreed but I’d think they would at least try to sell some tickets. I guess they could roll with Colt McCoy all year if they just don’t care about anything.
