We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Wouldn't mind Dennard Wilson.

Hopefully he doesn't follow the defensive blueprint that Gannon left him.

I would have went for it on 4th, but it was a much tougher call than SB52 going for it. People keep comparing it to that which is crazy. That had much less time left and closer to mid field.

That's tough.  It was a 1 point Chiefs lead at that point if I remember.

My thinking was even if they punt and the Chiefs score its still 1 possession game.

Might be different thinking if we were down 2, 3 points or more.

Which is why if you don’t convert it’s not a big deal. What do you trust/think is more likely at that point?

Picking up 3 yards in one play

or

Gannon/defense ending a possession with no points at that point in the game when the Chiefs were rolling and doing as they please?

You have to love sports pundits. They have to say something. In this case it’s what was left off. "If the Eagles want to get more aggressive on D they could look at Vance Joseph" --Wow what a story and great idea -- and left out "and his defenses have been pretty mediocre on results" Wow -- what a bad idea and non story. Jeepers

you know what’s coming next year, some reporter championing Gannon will bring up  how great the 2022 defense was under Gannon as compared to what it is in 2023. It was always going to regress in 2023 because of how many free agents you had and you weren’t gonna be able to bring them all back. So you were going to have a bunch of new faces, young players that are inexperienced. Whether or not gannon came back, the regression was coming. The amount of talent the Eagles had collectively on defense was probably the best since the early 2000s with Jim Johnson. You were likely never getting close to that in 2023 with your cap situation and ability to bring everyone back. It was one of the reasons why I said this year it is vital to finish the job because in 2023. It is gonna be significantly harder with what you’re going to have on defense plus all the other things. But I’m 100% certain that article is coming at some point in mid season next year.

Is anyone else posting on a desktop/laptop and are you able to Bold anything?

I can't. Just did on mobile and it's still not showing on my laptop.

That is fine to believe in as a core philosophy, but at some point, you also have to believe in bringing pressure and blitzing.

It’s like….10 shades lighter than the usual bold?

It'll be really interesting how Johnson is as a playcaller. We kind of just figure he'll be the OC

yep

Really feels like Hurts gets extended and Johnson is OC. They did nothing to make you feel otherwise.

It's just insane how much they coddle the guy. Why is he even there at the PC? Lol

Yes, I know the joke that’s coming there’s actual Cardinals fans? But good portion of the fan base did not love Kyler Murray. They didn’t want to pay him they money. I personally have thought he was overrated since the day they drafted him. I know I’ve gotten in discussions with Alphagrand on here about it. Posted during the 2020 game i rather have hurts. It wasn’t cause i thought hurts would become what he did. It’s simply cause i think he works hard so i knew there was a better chance he’d maximize his talent and murray would get paid a boatload and waste it.  now he’s dealing with an injury that might take away the one thing that he was super great at which was his athleticism.

If I am the Cardinals, I would rather be really bad and it’s setting up that way anyway. Cause I get Caleb Williams. Imo that guy is a franchise changer. imo he is a Joe Burrow/mahomes type of guy. I don’t think murray ever is ever gonna be that.
