No Rb in first just no

I could wrap my head around the goal of maintaining excellence on offense and taking an OL at #10 and a RB at #30.

Then use the rest of the draft to address the defense.

The Eagles will go DL or OL at 10. Its as if some of you are new to following this team.

Yep, they will probably sign Amos or Mills at some point. Safety just isnt a premium position in this league any more and the job is easier with Slay and Bradberry at corner.

I am definitely more concerned about who the LB playing next to Nakobe is.

I feel the same way as of right now.  But my counterpoint to this would be Desai.

His inclusion on a Win Now team might change their math a little bit.  They're going to want to give him the pieces to keep the team championship-caliber while implementing a new scheme.

Knowing how much we've lost on defense and the upgrades we need, while also having very few changes on offense, may lead them to going high for a defensive player or two again.  I don't think anyone in the FO wants to be singing the same song a year from now, where the defense cost us a SB.

I don't know why the Eagles would want a goaltender, but he is not draft eligible.  They would need to trade directly for him.

Im getting ready for Howie to take Bijan at 10, Sydney Brown at 30, and trade up for Jack Campbell in round 2.

He will shock the world picking those 3 positions with the 1st 3 picks.

Suddenly though, its a complete team.

That would certainly be shocking.

I'd be down with it but Howie is most likely going OL, DL with at least two of those picks.

No one finds this funny nor knows what you are talking about cuz water polo is lame and no one watches it...😉

Right you are.  OT should be the top priority.  Need to have Johnson's replacement from this draft and to take over in a season or 2.  #10 pick should be high enough to get a good prospect.  The interior OL looks good as-is.

On DL, we have a few serviceable players, but not at the high level.  If they play well this season, the needs may not be pressing.  DE could use some young blood anticipating the drop off of Graham and Barnett.

Let’s take the report that the Eagles didn’t have room in their budget for CJGJ anymore (and it wasn’t other issues that shied the Eagles away), that would seem to suggest John Johnson is probably priced out as well. Maybe his market bottoms out as well. If not, we’re probably dumpster diving.

I think Johnson, Amos & Rapp are all going to get north of 3 some probably 4.  I don't see them getting to the 2 range.  That's Mills. Maybe Amos off a down year

Has us going DL twice in RD1.

Not just DL but DE specifically. What a bad mock.

Why? Kid is solid. We said the same thing last year about Karlaftis

He's 21 (will be 22 when the season starts).

Both Skoronski and Johnson Jr are LT; I don't think the Eagles would use #10 on either of them if it's a precursor to moving them to RT, in light of their experience with Dillard.

The interior OL looks good as-is for the present, but how long is Kelce going to play?  Still need a RG when Jurgens moves to C.

I prefer higher sack upside speed rushers as opposed to the solid power rusher types. Plus I Fing hate the Big 10

As for CB, the Eagles were ready to take one two years ago in Surtain or Horn before they were snatched up so they aren’t totally opposed to it, though they obviously always prefer DL.

Pretty sure both Johnson Jr. and Skoronski played at least a year or two at RG in addition to tackle

Given that we don't need a starter at OL in 2023, IMO 2nd round or 3rd round is the way to go (like Dickerson and Jurgens).

We're looking at the Matthew Bergeron, Cody Mauch, Jaelyn Duncan, etc.

Let RD1 be for defense or clear BPA on offense (ex: JSN falls to 30).

I’d rather not use pick 10 on a developmental player. Either trade back, or just go full send on beefing up the offense. Take one of the two top end WRs there, and then Gibbs at 30.

I can’t believe people are clamoring for a WR at 10 in a weak WR draft. Sure if JSN is there at 30, I’m down. But not at 10. None of them are top 10 worthy.

Johnson for sure, but I don't think #10 overall will be where the Eagles future RG will come from.  Skoronski projects as a guard for sure IMO.

Much better WR available than JSN.  I don't see him any better than the 6th or 7th rated WR in this draft.
