Sure. That would be best case scenario going forward but even that scenario likely wouldn’t actually improve the team.

It truly sucks.

IMO it would

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Not mine but one of the best I've seen so far. 2 instant starters (Campbell/Brown) , 4 more that would get ample playing time their rookie year (Witherspoon/Brooks/Dell/McBride):

TDN has the Eagles taking Gonzalez at #10, Gibbs at #30, and Ojulari in the second round.

I thought of this myself but I think they’ve pretty much maintained so far. You can say they are slightly worse at linebacker and safety but for the most part I’d say they are close. So I guess the way I look at it is they have almost the same team and a chance to land a couple real difference makers in the draft.

Yeah they've mitigated losses fairly well tho Hargrave is a pretty big one.  If they can get someone of the impact of Hargrave in the draft that would help a lot. History isn't on their side but we'll see

Awesome value for Buffalo.

Wow... Tremendous value

McLane's piece had an interesting tidbit. It said early on when the Eagles acquired CJGJ there was friction, but eventually, Eagles coaches got him to buy in.

Whatever that means. If true, not sure that means he didn't like the system or how they were using him or whatever.

Yea I think CJGJ alluded to it during the season. He said he needed to get humbled.

If we’re taking OT at 10, which one would it be?

Can Eagles fans handle another Day 2 CB with high upside coming off injury?

Its not an achilles, so yes.

Any predictions on where Lamar ends up if he is traded?

Eagles- We could use a good Running back to replace Miles.

No Oline or D Tackle? You do know Howie makes the picks right?

It’s a mock draft, not a guess at Howie will draft

Has us going DL twice in RD1.

His mock means nothing, he has to write something to kill time till his final mock that actually is his real thought process. Everything before is click bait

Since we’re heavy zone which non 1st round DB’s are best suited for it?

I understand the need to buid for the future but I just don't see them, or do I think it's a good idea to take an OT at 10 or even 30.  They just let Dillard walk...an OT they drafted to take over for a veteran.  They got essentially nothing out of him in 5 years.  Lane Johnson has said he's playing a few more years but even then, do we know if that's going to be true?  Just look at Kelce.  We thought he was done 2 years ago and here he is.  The Eagles are going to restructure Lane and that's going to add years to his deal too.   If they draft an OT, he's on the bench for at least 2 years and who knows what happens then.

Draft an OT in the middle rounds (if they get more picks) and let him be OL6/7 with potential to start down the road.

And what happens if one of them gets injured? There’s not much depth there

He should still do a better job than this. One DE between the two picks makes sense, two is just overkill.

Cam Smith imo , that being said DBs need to be versatile

My last sentence covers that.  Draft a player who can be a role player and play that role well.  Driscoll has shown he's also more than capable of of playing in a pinch.  He's not a starter but he serves his purpose.  Not drafting an OT at 10 as injury insurance.

Some people still don't grasp the most simple of concepts when it comes to football. The teams who are best in the trenches are typically the best teams. Also, more specific to Eagles, they have always viewed OL and DL as the most premium positions in the draft after QB. I'd be surprised if their first two picks aren't on the DL and OL.

I really like Smith, think he lasts to 30?

I think he goes Top 25.

There will be a run on CBs at some point in mid RD1.
