Brian Johnson and Vance Joseph having successful 2023 seasons as OC and DC coorindators for the Eagles leading to HC jobs in 2024= 4 3rd round picks.  Make it happen Howie.

Defenses generally get crappier once Joseph gets put in charge.  I'd rather see Dennard Wilson get promoted; he's already quite familiar

Kind of felt for a while if one of those pass rushers isn’t there at 10 then i think the eagles will move back like 5-7 spots to get more picks. i have a feeling if the pass rushers are off the board then the eagles board likely has prospects graded similarly from 10-17 range.

It makes massive sense. Loading up with more high picks and not having depth under it will only exacerbate the general issues with how the roster has been built and the cap position in general - having comp pick is great, but they aren't for the now.

Pick 30 is a prime one for a trade down too.

Why outlaw it?

Reminds me of a rugby scrum or maul.

It's not like it's a play that is any more unsafe than any other play and if it was such a successful play then why doesn't every other team do it more often?

Because not every team has Hurts at QB and the eagles O line.

If they’re going to get rid of the push sneak then they need to get rid of an RB or receiver getting pushed five yards down the field by his linemen.

What are they gonna outlaw about it? What? You can’t push players to help them gain yards but you can still gang tackle?

For what reasons?  I kind of amazed that no team has figured out how to stop this. A KC lineman, Jones I think, tried to jump over the OL to stop Hurts.  But he was air bound and did not have the leg support to get the push.  Could not stop the TD.

I see that there was a spammer earlier today and someone tagged me at @VaBeach_Admin to bring it to my attention. I very rarely ever log into that account. If something like that happens and you want to bring it to my attention, tag me at this account, not that one. On that one, I will see it, but it'll be in 6 months when I see it lol.

Should be up to the defenses to get creative to stop it IMO

I don't think there's a real chance Joseph ever becomes a HC again. At least Wilson is young and up and coming.

There is no way to stop it, that's why they are making it illegal.

The NFL have let the O push players forward in a number of circumstances for years.  The Eagles took it to it's logical conclusion in short yardage situations, and now the NFL don't like it.

The real issue is they let the D encroach and be offside on those short yardage plays and I can't understand why it's ok there, but not on other plays

It's not likely the first, spam controls weed a lot of that crap out automatically.

Is that just an invision feature or something else you added?

Part of Invision, behind the curtain. Though I'll be more than willing to take credit...

Don't need to. The easiest way to stop it is don't let them get to less than a yard to go.

Thanks Adam!

Laying the groundwork for a "yea I knew this all along, but the situation was fluid."
