Looking at the success rate of the play, I think Hurts has a lot to do with it.  What team was it where the DL jumped across the OL and had a direct hit on Hurts and he shrugged it off to still get the 1st down.  I think the Eagles have always done the QB sneak at a very high level.  Wentz was great at it before his injury too.

Niners playoff game, should have been penalty hit to the head as well, but hurts took it and powered through for the first down💪

Love Nowell. He needs to stop shooting 30 footers.

Absurd decision-making. Jay Cutler-esque.

He’s lucky he’s 5’8” on that last shot

So you’d make dawk switch positions?  Doubtful.

Meh JJ used Dawk all over the place in the box, deep covering the slot TE, blitz off the edge line up in the A gap and blitz or drop, it's not like bringing Reed in all the sudden JJ would stop moving Dawk all over.

Having reed behind him would have made Dawk even more dangerous.

Michigan St vs Kansas St is nuts

It all makes sense now why everybody was wearing k state gear when I picked my kids up from school today.🤔

Lol. Nowell is incredible. Just incredible.

well, it doesnt. And thats why people are asking to be paid. You are supposed to be where their paycheck comes from, since they cant just go pick some dollars off a tree.

It's not that people don't want to work they just want a livable wage and the cost of living is a lot more than it used to be, especially in bigger cities.

Not sure where you are located but if in a bigger city 70k a year is tough to make work especially for a family.

Back in the 50s a one worker household could afford a house a car and yearly vacation on a high school diploma factory workers pay, unfortunately that's not our reality any longer for a litany of reasons, one not being because people don't want to work

He was a free safety. Yes he was moved around. FS.

Yup I'm in the same boat except I wouldn't take Carter at 10 too big a risk for me, though I'd guess Davis and Dean have vouched for him to Howie?

I'm not a huge Carter fan either but I would understand the pick and be ok with it. He's a top 3 talent in the draft at a position that is highly valued here and we can use a young blue chip there.

Bijan is going to be there at 10 and will be the BPA. Will be very interesting to see if Howie does the unthinkable.

The question is whether he will be there at 11 … or 12 … or 13 … or 14?

I'm sure JJ could have figured it out.

Having said that that 2002 draft was Reid's best.

Lito, sheldon, Mike Lewis, and of course Westbrook.

So I'm perfectly ok with that draft.

I've still yet to see anyone show why he's a top 3 talent.  His pro day showed who he is.  He got winded playing minimal snaps during games and got winded doing basic pro day drills.  Add to that the character concerns and I want nothing to do with hiim.

This is what I'm seeing as well. I don't want a stiff bull rusher at 10.

Your girlfriend doesn’t want that either.

If the Eagles pick at 10, I think it's all but locked in stone they trade down from 30.  If they trade down from 10, I think they would look to move up from 30.

I'd take him at 10 purely for comic relief, that bag drill he did at his pro day was a joke...

Hurts is not special

He clearly is a special player but that's irrelevant to the point.  There's a lot going on with that play.  I've seen other teams attempt it and not have the same success.

All Van Ness does is bull rush. He is strong and does it well but that's his arsenal of pass rushing.

Lots of players evolve/diversity when they get to the NFL. There is no reason to believe he will only be a bullrusher, but also no guarantee he won’t be either.

There's no way Howie will do it. He will unwaveringly invest in what he considers premium positions. It will most assuredly be OL/DL/CB there.

Never say never.

I want a FA redo. DT is weak this year in the draft. I can't reach for one just because it's a valued position. CB is possibly the strongest position. Only sign 1 of our corners while using the rest of the money on DT Dre'Mont Jones. He got paid but not the 20 mil per some had suggested. Make him your priority on Monday at noon. Then grab your other corner at 10 or even with a slight trade back. Even if the top two are off the board at 10 there's literally 3 others in Porter, Smith and Banks. Oh well

What free agent DTs would you have signed?  and why those particular players?

So my neighbors and I built a fence last year and the guy that lives directly behind me is a retired 70+ old guy and wasn't much help but was good for talking to us.

I didn't know him that well and one day my next door neighbor who is my same age and my 70+ old neighbor were digging a post hole with an auger and my buddy whose my age says we need to go deeper and this 70+ year old dude says, that's what she said😄 my buddy and I looked at each other shocked even though we were thinking the same thing and then all 3 of us just busted up laughing.
