Edmunds is a good box S. He is a willing hitter and good tackler. He's an adequate replacement for Epps and probably an upgrade. He is instantly our best S so those complaining need to chill. Not sure how/if Blankenship and him would fit as a starting tandem but hopefully there will still be another shoe to drop at some point and Blankenship will be the 3rd S. TBD, Edmunds, Blankenship, Evans OR Wallace looks good to me.

Any group of Safeties with Wallace doesn't look good to me, that dude is straight trash  and I was pretty high on him when drafted, he's disappointed for sure.

We took out more trash this weekend. Publicly harassing VA (who saved the EMB and is trying to focus on the technology, marketing & ad revenue) will not be tolerated. Taking a fun football me

Too expensive for a 2-3 target per game WR though. Not many targets to go around when you have the batman's and Goedert. If they pick up a good pass catching RB even less to go around.

You mean Chark or Davis? If Chark gets 5 million, I think Davis could be had for 3-4. Whether it’s him or not, I think it’s very probable they add a guy before the draft. Outside of the top 3 it’s basically special teamers.

Yeah the Eagles lack of depth at WR can be a big issue.  I mean it might not if the top 2 stay healthy but if not it could be ugly

Lot of Blankenship haters here.  He is going to win a starting job and he will make the Pro Bowl.  I'm all in on Team Blankenship.

That’s exactly why people are complaining, so chill

No, people are complaining because they are miserable fans and always find something to complain about. We just added a proven starting safety when we didn't have one on the roster. The same people complaining about this are probably some of the same ones complaining that we let Epps go and Edmunds is a better version of him.

I thought he played well, ESPECIALLY against the run.

He's fine as a 4th S and there's a decent chance Evans beats him out for that spot anyway.

This is why the Eagles were interested in him. He may only be a "B” player and not an "A” but he is extremely versatile.

This is the guy the Eagles need in their secondary.  Incomplete pass:

I don't think anyone is hating on him. We just don't really have a safety that excels at coverage at the moment.

Been seeing a lot of people over the weeks and today refer to him as a 3rd safety.  I believe he will beat out Edmunds and he will the starting SS.

I'm interested to know who they're going to get to play the enforcer role at WR.

Year one it was JJAW and Paschal was an upgrade over that as he was actually a threat to catch the ball but at the moment the eagles don't really have a WR that fits that roll.

IMO he's shown a positive upside and now needs to keep getting his play on the rise.

Nah, it's all good. I just have a whole lot going on at the moment and having every video that I post to to try to promote the board get 'protest' comments, just kind of ticked me off. Had it happened at any other time, I'd have just ignored it and set comments to be off.

But you know when you have one of those moments where something just gets under your skin and you react? That was my moment yesterday lol.

Some folks around here don't know how good they have it.

Probably never spent a penny to be here, either. Posting because that's life for them.

Grounded, take their keyboard away, make em watch reruns of Golden Girls til Maude starts lookin good...

I like Blankenship and think he can be a solid starter. However, bringing in Edmunds to fill that role for a year while Blankenship develops and gets more time as the 3rd S is not a bad thing at all. If Blankenship proves himself you can let Edmunds walk in the offseason. If he doesn't take the next step or even fails to play at the level he did last year you can always try to bring Edmunds back. Hell, if Blankenship balls out in camp and takes the spot away from Edmunds that is fine too. Competition and depth is a good thing to have in this league.

Would make sense to micro dose shrooms to improve focus and you don't trip on such a small dose.

Shrooms would be for pain I would think not so much focus

adderall is super focus

Should we be worried that all the beats left out that the Eagles aren’t done at safety?

I haven't given up on quez yet,I think he can have a bounce back year.

He mentioned in an interview that he wasn't pleased with his season and that he had some off the field personal issues that affected his play.

I have no idea what those issues are/were but I hope they're cleared up  because when Watkins is right he makes this offense that much more dangerous.

I went completely out on Quez after that SB drop. Quez sucks.

That's not hate, it's being realistic.  Blankenship made some plays when he was on the field last year but if the Eagles add another veteran, or draft a guy like Sydney Brown, Blankenship very well may be the 3rd safety.  Edmunds/Blankenship could be a fun camp battle for that starting position and there should be competition.  Blankenship shouldn't be crowned a starter and neither should Edmunds.
